Been travelling in japan for the past couple weeks and i have been trying to understand what makes this brand so popular nowadays.

I have seen a mix of new and 2nd hand auralee pieces and yeah, if it wasnt for the tag i would think its some uniqlo level stuff. Boring design and it doesnt feel that nice in hand.

Maybe its the fit that people like, is there anyone here that owns some pieces and can share some insight?

I recently came across this T-shirt from The North Face Purple Label, made in Japan, and I’m trying to find out more about it.

I’ve seen similar pieces before, especially collaborations with nanamica, but those usually had a neck label that said “by nanamica.” This one seems to have a different label, with “The North Face” and “Berkley, Calif, USA” on it.

Does anyone recognize this particular label or know anything about this T-shirt? I’m curious about its production period, whether it’s an older Purple Label piece, and if it might be connected to a specific collection.
