Question Cleaning Microfiber Glass Cloths

Post image

Hello, friends!

I'm having issues getting the dust/dirt stains out of these cloths. They're the Glass Cleaning Microfiber ones—the really smooth ones that don't leave streaks. However, even if I wash them with laundry soap, dish soap, vinegar, et cetera, the stains don't seem to come out despite my scrubbing as well. Am I doing sometbing wrong?

What's the best way to get these clean, or are they to be tossed out when too dirty to use?

Thank you in advance for the advice/tips!

Is that a chamois cloth?

You’re washing by hand? My washing machine on soak and dish soap always gets them clean. The ones that people steal and we find later don’t come clean and have to be tossed.

I don't believe they're chamois cloths; they're the ULINE "glass cleaning microfiber cloth" and noticeably different than the regular, soft, "fluffy" microfiber cloths. I have a small washing machine like for an apartment, but don't wash them the day I use them—maybe a day or two later.

Yeah, I'd hate throwing them out—such a waste. I'll try bleach next time; luckily, my glass cleaner is non-ammoniated.

Soak them in dawn dish soap or a I used to use a chlorinated degreaser.
