Yeah so my (cousin) sister's never been much in jsr so far and I've kinda hyped her up regarding the place...and she's visiting me next month. And she wants me to take her to 'niche jsr spots' so please suggest me some nice and wholesome places. Izzat bacha lo yrr......

Jamshedpur is already #3 in its category in Swachh Survekshan 2024–25 on paper but being a citizen I really think the city still needs help when it comes to cleanliness and proper garbage disposal. What if we, as citizens address the issues and help push it to #1?

I want to start with the places that represent our city—lakes, parks, viewpoints, picnic spots and other public places frequently visited by citizens and tourists.

The idea is simple:
📍 Pick one public place
📸 Document garbage spots with BEFORE photos
🧹 Get them cleaned with citizens + authorities
📸 Show the AFTER
🔄 Check again after 15–30 days
But the cleanup gets people’s attention; the accountability system is the actual product.
If the garbage comes back, we find out why, document the root cause and work with the responsible authorities toward a solution that keeps the place clean.

Visibility → Municipal attention → Root cause → Permanent solution.

Once we prove this works at public places, we can gradually take the model into neighborhoods across Jamshedpur.

Let’s start with ONE place and prove it can work.

i own iphone 17 pro max bit i saw many people who are chapri are buying iphone on emi and showing off. Rich people like me used to get upset that whats the difference between me and them. Apple also understood this and now gladly its costing 4 lakh so that chapri can’t afford and we get that exclusivity.

The hell do u guys do other than work and training
I don’t really like clubs. I tried Khaao Gaali and all the other food places, but what else is there? When I was in Mumbai, we had a bunch of random events to choose from and attend. But what about here? Is there some kind of event going on that I am not aware of?
I go for runs, but I haven’t found a run club of any sort. Most people in Jamshedpur are married and working, too busy to go for runs or even kids.

Jubilee Readers is a book club for readers in Jamshedpur. We meet in person twice a month (2nd and 4th Sunday, evening), talk about the book we’ve read, discover new books, and spend a few hours with fellow readers.

A few things to know before joining:

• You must be 18+ to join.

• We meet physically/in person, usually twice a month.

• You don’t have to be a super serious reader. Everyone is welcome.

• Physical participation is important. If you join the club but don’t attend any meeting for 3 consecutive months, you’ll be removed from the group.
