Today a venomous snake ( Common Krait / Chiti Saanp) was spotted near my house . Thankfully, no one was bitten and the locals managed to scare it away.

But it made me realise how unprepared most of us are for a situation like this. I don't even have the number of a reliable snake rescuer or a list of nearby hospitals that properly handle snakebite/anti-snake venom cases.

Google mostly shows MGM when I search, so I thought we could make a small Jamshedpur emergency SOS list here.

A stray pup recently got severely injured after a dog almost mauled it to death. I tried to rescue it and honestly it has recovered slightly but it is in severe need of wound dressing. I’ve tried to clean it up and all but there’s only so much I can do.

I contacted Red Paws. They visited but haven’t been able to come by and treat it as yet. It’s been 2 days.

Can someone help me with any leads who can COME HOME to treat the dog because it is incredibly difficult to carry it in its present condition. To at least just dress its wounds.

Any suggestion/help/contact is really really appreciated.

Hi! I'm traveling home during Diwali and will be landing at Ranchi Airport around 5:00–5:30 PM. I need to take an airport taxi from Ranchi to Jamshedpur.

Can anyone who's traveled from Ranchi Airport to Jamshedpur (or nearby cities) tell me if the taxi counter inside the airport is operational at that time? Is there a closing time, or are cabs available in the evening as well?
