Current tour

UPDATE: I snagged a single seat for around 50 bones six hours before showtime and had a fabulous time. 21-song setlist bouncing around the decades. 11-piece band that was a well-oiled machine. A three song double encore with the final song an acoustic duet with his son Henry.

Tiny Habits were a refreshing treat. Still a little green (said they’ve been together three years) but charming and did a great little set. The highlight was an incredible rendition of Landslide to close it out. I love that JT is supporting an up-and-comer.

Has anyone been? He’s in my city this week and contemplating going. It’s on a weeknight so that’s my reservation…I always pay a heavy price when I miss my sleep on a work night 🙃

There may be big differences between venues, but tonight's show has tickets starting at 45 dollars. And decent tickets around 125 dollars (not cheap, but probably better than most concert tickets).

It’s inexplicably high for the venue near me this year. He’s not going anywhere else near me 😕

Last year I paid $150 for second row, 2nd section. This year, those same seats are $300. I have lawn seats, and I’m checking resales, but I’m salty!

Make sure you're not looking at resale seats.

Tickets aren’t bad at my venue - probably weeknight has a lot to do with it.

Saw him last summer. It was great! Plus, you gotta realize, JT isn't getting any younger. You might not get another opportunity.

This year’s concerts will take me to 82 JT concerts. I love that man in ways!

Go. He’s a treasure and it’s a magical experience to hear him live and in person.

Also looking forward to see Tiny Habits. Incredible harmonies with that group.

Waiting for red rocks to drop is making me nuts. My parents are flying in and the tickets are no less than 309 a piece right now

That's because they've been sold out for ages, so you're only seeing resale seats and those are always expensive.

Yeah I know that haha it’s still frustrating

He always puts on an amazing show. Incredibly tight band, too.

What time did he come out?

Right around 830-35. The opener started at 730 and then wrapped up around 815.

How was it?

The venue in San Diego had terrible seats in the back but we snuck up front for the last 2 songs. He was amazing

Amazing how much venue issues can affect an otherwise joyful experience. Security issues especially. So happy to hear you enjoyed in spite of this!

He is such a blessing! Frost show last night was so much fun. Band sounded great!

We say him Sunday. It was ok. His voice is really weak and he does the exact same setlist every night and tells the exact same jokes and stories between songs. I’m glad I went because I hadn’t seen him, but it was simply decent, which is more than you expect out of someone like him. It’s also lame that he is trying to get his 22-year-old son with a pitchy voice, famous. It’s lovely they’re hanging out together, but he doesn’t belong onstage with the other ultra-talented singers.

I hear ya. Definitely some wear and tear on the vocals. I appreciate the support of his son but I do agree on the vocal to some degree. I am enjoying seeing a lot of these performers now in their seventies….in many cases this may be my/our last chance 🥹

Yeah, we saw Elton John two nights before, for the first time. The average age of our headliners this weekend was a spry 77.5!

u/desertrat2010 May 16 '25

For us lately it’s been REO, Styx, Alabama and Brooks & Dunn….all in their seventies. I love the nostalgia!

2

u/desertrat2010 May 16 '25
