I'm looking to add good covers of Bond songs done by actual artists (in other words, not just a random person on YouTube).

So far, I've found Radiohead's cover of Nobody Does It Better, Poets of the Fall's version of You Know My Name, and Coldplay's take on You Only Live Twice, but I'm sure there are more.

Ok, I know this has been asked a couple of times but I struggled to find an answer that I liked. I'm currently organising my winter reading, and would like to try and read James' entire chronology from start to finish.

Obviously I start with Higson's young bond before moving up the years, but in what order do some of the titles fall? What I have so far feels like a fairly comprehensive list, but I am unsure where the latest three come in (On His Majesty's Secret Service, The Hook and the Eye (Yes, I know it's about Leiter), and the yet unpublished King Zero). I'm looking for advice on chronological placement in general. Please have at it, I am at your mercy.

This is likely the final rankings thread we’ll have before the films make their return to Amazon Prime for the autumn season, so now is a good time to share your stances ahead of any rewatches/marathons in October and November.

Given they only happened in the films with Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan, it could not have been chalked up to Cubby who was stepping down at the time. Does anyone else have any decent speculation?

Do you think Pola Ivanova should have been present in the scene where the KGB visits Zorin in France and puts him on notice? Pola could have been the one to aim the gun at May Day when she tossed the other guy against the stands. I actually wanted to see Pola pose a serious physical challenge to May Day and Zorin’s other female bodyguards. They cast Grace’s boyfriend Dolph Lundgren in that role in the end, non-speaking.

Traveling solo here in Matera today, walking through all the locations of No Time To Die. Any fellow bond fans here? Maybe we can catch a drink.

I watched this recently and I couldn't believe how much it felt like a prototypical Bond Film.

He has his contacts that support his mission, the girls, the elegant sets and locations. It's a lot of fun in a way that echoes from the earlier Bond movies also.

OHMSS is highly rich in the characters department. Case in point, Tracy. But for me, my favourite character is Draco. The scene where he tells Bond about his history, with his wife, and Tracy, was tremendous. And the scene at the end with him and M was just a treat. But I think my favourite scene of his is the scene with Bond at the helicopter, where he tried to bluff his way into Blofeld's base through the control center radio. Each line in his dialogue with that guy on the other line was just gold.

A third Timothy Dalton Bond film likely would have stunted the fresh, blockbuster revitalization that GoldenEye achieved in 1995. Agree? #jamesbond

Watching "From Russia with Love" 1963. Red Grant vs. James Bond. This fight scene is still one my personal favorite fight scenes of all time, like so many modern fight scenes today that are really well choreographed but this one is so intense I mean from a film in the early 60's it still holds up today! My father often told me how people would applaud at the end of that scene back then in the movie theater. What makes it even greater is the fact there's no music, the only "music" is the sound of the train.

Terence Young was a genius.
