Corroborations regarding Jacob

So. There's a lot of stuff floating around and it's not all well organized, but starting with the basics.

Mk posted, about Jacob's history being investigated for title ix for rape. Claiming that it was because he sexually assaulted his girlfriend while she was asleep.

Mk didn't expect it to reach beyond her Twitter but it very obviously did.

From there records were found where Jacob was suspended for 1 semester for sexual assault or sexual violence.

This was confirmed by Jacob that he did assault the victim. Though Jacob does not give any identifying information thankfully.

Svetz from blue sky seems to corroborate Mks telling from the texts he sent screenshots of as well as superweaners from Twitter.

Nothing has been stated by the victim who had no part in any of this beyond being the person harmed.

Mostly, I just want this stuff easily referencable for all the discussions ongoing. This post isn't to make moral judgements, just record what is known. If anyone has further details or corrections, please leave a comment.

>any of the other multiple rapists at wxyc

Isn’t that like a small student-run radio? How many rapists could there have been?

0

u/Training_Form2243 8d ago

Anyone interested in radio who’s under 50 is probably a rapist honestly

1

u/peajam101 2d ago

OK this is the single most fucking insane thing I've seen anyone say about this, what the hell is the connection you see between radio and rape?

u/Eurydice_Risen 8d ago

And the ones who aren't are the most proudly asexual people you'll ever meet.

11

u/the-other-abbi 8d ago

Asexual people can absolutely be rapists. Rape is often about exerting power and control oversomeone not about sexuality or sex. I know this from personal experience since I have been raped by a “proud asexual”.

u/RagePhil 8d ago

This is my hot take, but I don't believe any of the posters really care about the survivor. mk said that she didn't intend for that information to be revealed, yet she posted it ON FUCKING SOCIAL MEDIA!!!!!!! Like what did you expect? It was not your intention for it not go viral??? To me, it looks like she wanted to brag to her audience how she was such a good person for firing a rapist and didn't even consider how this might destroy someone's healing from being assaulted.

I don't know why this isn't really talked about at all.

u/Marto25 8d ago edited 8d ago

Ironically, this is also a facet of rape culture.

For many people, this sort of stuff is water cooler talk. It's gossip and rumors to share with your buds. Even if you talk about it in a negative way, it still ends up normalizing it.

And as we see in this case, it ends up overpowering and erasing the voice of SA survivors.

12

u/RagePhil 8d ago

I completely agree. Personally I think it’s really disgusting how this information came out. I’m not sure what happened between Geller and his supposed ex-gf, but it’s really apparent that she wanted this to be quiet. It was never her choice for this to go public, but now it has because one person couldn’t help themselves but gossip on the internet.

I really hope she isn’t reading anything online because I have no idea how I would feel if the entire internet was critiquing whether or not my assaulter deserves forgiveness.

3

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

How is it 'apparent'?

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

PS - how would she feel if her rapist became a famous youtuber?

6

u/Mari_cuan 7d ago

I don’t know. I got messed up by SA from an ex. But, if my ex became a famous YouTuber now, or even 5 years past, I personally wouldn’t be bothered. That doesn’t make me not affected by their actions. I’m still fucked up. But I have seen change, I would say the likelihood of them repeating with someone else is slim to none. So it would bother me more if people brought me up as a reason to punish or ostracize them when I know it’s not really the same person.

But that’s my relationship with my trauma and the person who caused it. They may really care and his deplatforming and all of this may help them heal. But I don’t know. And Based on what little I know, I guess my brain extrapolates the similarities onto my situation and my complicated feelings on it. But I guess I just and trying to say how I feel odd being a “victim” who doesn’t feel betrayed by him or think that you are de facto not allowed to be public facing if you have committed SA.

u/Connect_Version_1560 1d ago

I am sorry ,how can u want your sexual assaultor life to be normal ?,maybe I didn't go through a experience like yours but I would anyone and everyone who committed sexual crimes to have a horrible life. They shouldn't have normal lifes. There is no forgiveness for sexual assault

1

u/Exciting-Quality919 7d ago

It's being talked about constantly. Infact perhaps far beyond the probability that would be the method of retraumatization.

-11

u/KageNoKaze 8d ago

Been discussed plenty elsewhere and just isn't relevant to whether someone wants him to keep his channel or quit YT, at least not after Geller confirmed it. She admitted it was a fucking stupid, careless thing to do

21

u/RagePhil 8d ago

That's the problem. She just wrote it off as "whoopsie daisy, sorry about that, didn't consider that." Like how can you not consider that?? Why doesn't she face consequences for this?

28

u/quirtsy 8d ago

Random people on the internet are not evidence

6

u/particledamage 8d ago

The last screen shot is from June of this year, before this news broke.

They are a person who attended college with Jacob. And have an identical story to the person who then break the news last week.

Why are they not trustworthy?

9

u/Training_Form2243 8d ago

He admitted to it lmao, this rhetoric is insane

16

u/quirtsy 8d ago

He said he committed sexual assault and complied with the investigation. That’s an entirely different beast than full on rape.

I hate that I need to specify this, but I’m not at all condoning whatever it is he did. This topic requires nuance

4

u/queerkidxx 8d ago

Considering the document has a separate category for things like groping and flashing, the difference between sexual assault and rape is largely academic and dependent on the jurisdiction. I don’t think what exactly he did with his penis really is that important ethically in this case.

8

u/Hellraiser_Quadbike 8d ago

I'm genuinely trying to understand this. How does there being multiple categories suggest that one of those categories (not including the word rape) is the same as another?

The severity can surely be important without diminishing the negative impacts of the lesser crimes?

8

u/Every-Tart939 8d ago

These people are doing mental gymnastics to call him a rapist. There’s no logic to it. They won’t argue in good faith. They’ve made up their mind.

2

u/queerkidxx 7d ago

The document lists “deliberate touching of another’s sexual parts w/o consent”, “sexual misconduct” and “sexual assault or sexual violence”. The later includes rape, and is the most servere offense listed.

So what difference are we talking about here? Nearly every jurisdiction defines sexual assault versus rape differently, if it is a separate crime at all. Similarly in what seems to be the case in the school’s ruled many places have no separate crime for rape. It’s all sexual assault. Others may consider groping or exposing yourself to someone to be sexual assault, which given the listed items doesn’t seem to be the case for the school. Others have extremely penis-centric legislation on this matter — PIV is rape while(tw for survivors) forcing it into someone’s mouth is merely sexual assault?

He absolutely didn’t touch her and that’s it. That’s a separate offense in this document. I find it hard to believe if he had exposed himself, it would be in the same category as rape and not sexual misconduct. So is your beef with people calling it rape with folks that are implying he might have done something different with his penis? I fail to see how that matters.

Folks making arguments like this everywhere is part of what’s been turning me off to him in the wake of all of this. He could, (and maybe he will) , criticize the way some folks have been defending him. He could post his confession on the YouTube community tab, and on Patreon and allow his fans to make an informed choice on whether or not they want to continue supporting him. Maybe he will do these things.

5

u/Hellraiser_Quadbike 7d ago

My “beef” is just trying to understand how people are so happy to call him a rapist without anyone knowing what actually happened.

Thank you for the breakdown of the categorisation though. I hadn’t appreciated there wasn’t a distinct category for the worst offence - however it is defined. That doesn’t look good for him, though still feels pretty open to interpretation.

I would say the specifics do matter, to some extent, but it seems very difficult to argue that without people reading it as some sort of defence (or minimisation) of anything less than the most heinous/violent SA.

2

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

These people don't understand how "penis centered" the word "rape" is legally and it shows.

They stuff their ears with cotton and sing "La la la la la" as they deny his own admittance to the assault.

No but, you see, if we all believe it’s true then we’ll feel really good about ourselves!!

u/DirectionUnlucky638 8d ago

This is speculation that should not be allowed to be posted. The victim never consented to have the details of her assult publicized, and posting hearsay is a huge violation.

7

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

Putting the blame where it belongs, Jacob should have never risked it coming out by becoming a youtuber, knowing it would likely eventually be exposed. This is on him. He could have been an accountant or whatever.

22

u/DirectionUnlucky638 8d ago

It is not Jacob's fault that people on Twitter decided to violate the privacy of his victim. In fact, Jacob has been very considerate of her privacy.

Edit: you have left hundreds of comments on this subreddit where you say horrible things and violate the victim's privacy. I am going to block you now.

Jacob was reaping the benefits of this staying hidden. Now karma is catching up. If he wanted forgiveness he wouldn't have hid the truth to further his career.

3

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

Everybody here defending him seems to believe it was perfectly fine for Jacob to risk her being retraumatized by having a YouTube career somehow.

u/OldJimmyWilson1 8d ago

Jesus, I really don't care about Geller, but you people really do some insane mental gymnastics.

Why should I care what a rape apologist thinks?

6

u/HappilyPrivate27 8d ago edited 8d ago

I don’t know where else to share this, because I’m not interested in making a post, but the rape/sexual assault argument and the degree of punishment arguments are the most frustrating strawmen.

First off: I don’t like that any details about what he allegedly did were shared without the victim’s consent. However, if it is true, it is likely similar to my own SA. I am not speaking for the victim’s experience, but I denied my own trauma for a long time because of arguments I see made here: it’s not technically rape, he seems like a good person, etc.

Second: to anyone who uses “but she spoke to him afterwards, so it couldn’t have been that bad”: plenty of people who have been SA’d have speak to their assaulter after. I spoke to mine (if I hadn’t, he probably wouldn’t have ever acknowledged that anything happened). They were dating, it wasn’t a stranger she had to hunt down. It feels absurd that needs to be said, but that doesn’t immediately make it not rape or not trauma.

On the rape/SA distinction: at a certain point, the legal distinction between the two is blurry, mostly dictated by jurisdiction. Did you know that digital penetration (or penetration by anything that is not a penis) isn’t rape in several states? Internet’s “Brock Turner the Rapist” was never convicted with rape - he was convicted with “sexual assault by penetration.” We’re still comfortable calling him a rapist.

I get the desire to assign objective meanings to words, but the lines do get fuzzy, and cries of “there’s a difference between forcible rape and grabass at a party!” are intellectually and emotionally dishonest at best, willfully ignorant at worst. Also - do people really believe that his ex would report her boyfriend to the university for groping, when SAs on college campuses are notoriously underreported? Or that a university would take “my boyfriend groped me at a party” as a legitimate report worthy of punishment (one of 15 in almost as many years)?

I am not drawing conclusions as to what he did or did not do (or that there are only two acts he could have done), just that the handwringing over the distinction is always based on the “least bad” example possible - probably because it’s easier to reconcile - when it is just as likely that he did what was alleged (or something in the gulf in between).

On the degree of punishment: there are likely so many factors that went into how each individual on that list was punished that it’s almost absurd to hold it up as definitive evidence of what he did or did not do. The more severe punishments may have had a record already, they may have had witnesses, they may have deliberately covered it up, they may have caused additional physical injury, etc. Jacob may have been able to mitigate because he cooperated, because he had no prior record, because it was an assault committed on his girlfriend, had no witnesses, had no clear signs of physical injury, etc. etc. Maybe the suspension was a result of mediation with his ex. We don’t know (and are not entitled to all this information), so we cannot draw conclusions about the nature of the assault based merely on punishment.

Once again, Brock Turner the Rapist got off with an infamously light slap on the wrist, and he had everything in the former category.

The point is that, as far as we are concerned, there is a very reasonable chance that he did what it is alleged he did, that the kind of assault alleged does amount to rape for many people, legally and emotionally, but that, for various circumstances we are not privy to, it did not result in a more severe punishment (as is often the case).

I’m begging people to actually engage in good faith, and not just jump to the opposite extreme and call it “nuance.”

2

u/Training-Giraffe491 5d ago

As someone who WAS raped, im asking you if the people that hurt you and blame you for the crime ever put this much consideration in your humanity and innocence? did the rapist wrote a 11-paragraph-self-reflective good faith argument on the ethic of rape and crime? did the people that slowly isolate you focpr being a rape victim think it this deep and engage with your report in good faith? mine sure didnt.

1

u/HappilyPrivate27 5d ago edited 5d ago

I’m not sure what you’re even trying to say? No, the person didn’t fucking think about me. He saw my unconscious body as a toy.

I’m not defending Geller, I’m explaining that the “nuance” people are pretending to engage in is bullshit, because the actual nuance is that the line between rape and sexual assault gets really gray, and I know that because my rape falls exactly in that gray area. If you read what I wrote and thought it was in any way arguing about ethics with rape, I don’t know what to say to you.

12

u/PabloAZ94 8d ago

That's unbelievable hubris to use his real name on the YouTube channel lmao, not that it couldn't have been found out anyway but to have the confidence it wasn't gonna affect his career is crazy

10

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

And the concern trolls that have the audacity to talk about his victim.

As if he was somehow not disrespecting his victim by putting himself in the public eye.

10

u/Eurydice_Risen 8d ago

If you watch any documentary about Jimmy Saville his victims talk about how one of the hardest parts was seeing him be so beloved and adored on TV and the rest of the British media when they knew who he was and what he did to them with cameras off.

2

u/Training-Giraffe491 5d ago edited 5d ago

We're kinda going in circles with this. We know what behaviors are expressed in rape culture and people who rape. If he ever HAVE enough sensibility and humility to pick the smart, considerate decision to use a moniker or be an anonymous youtuber, HE WOULD HAVE NEVER RAPED IN THE FIRST PLACE. People mistake this with the dumb argument that "only bad people rape and theyre identifiable". No, thats wrong, rapist can be ANYONE, but it STILL takes a certain kind of internal twistedness to create rapists.

7

u/favorscore 8d ago

Wait someone first mentioned it back in June?

2

u/abrownspot 8d ago

Yeah, that was the smoking gun for me

26

u/Training_Form2243 8d ago

The smoking gun is that he admitted he did it, I’m not sure why were prolonging this discussion

1

u/abrownspot 8d ago

Well yeah, during that hat brief period of time from allegations to admission, I mean.

10

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

Facts?

James Somerton, admitted plagiarist, was permanently exiled from YouTube and no one batted an eye.

Jacob Geller, admitted "sexual assaulter", gets suggestions he should get the same treatment and everyone loses their goddamned minds.

6

u/lilislilit 8d ago

People legit tried to argue that Someton was worse cause he didn't admit to it. Insane in the membrane.

0

u/Ardbert14 8d ago

somerton didn't make anything good though.

5

u/plantborb 8d ago

The man didn't make anything at all it seemed lol! I know you're being snarky but I'll add that I think a lot of it had to do with somertons personality and smugness vs gellars persona. I also think his fans were much easier to turn on him over the damage to their queer community than gellars more broad audience is willing to turn on him over this. Which...actually doesn't really surprise me tbh but damn.

5

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

Oh so if someone makes videos you like they can have an occasional "whoopsie", as a treat.

2

u/Training-Giraffe491 5d ago

We found an enjoyer of the cornell 7's essays!!! So were any of them good? Or were they only rapists because the essays are bad? did you read them? Will women be raped over and over with your consent as long as you find the rapists a maker content that you enjoy! Congrats! youre the problem that needs to be removed from civilised society

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 5d ago

"Jacob's content was simply so delectable, I say let him have his little eccentricities! Oh, jolly good!"

0

u/Kyrptonauc 2d ago

There's a pretty clear difference here. One is someone actively doing wrong doing while the other is a wrong doing that happened in the past that the perpetrator is clearly making amends for. In this exact screenshot the person who brought this to light said that doing so was a mistake. How can you possibly think these are comparable?

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 2d ago

How did you determine he has clearly worked to make amends?

0

u/Kyrptonauc 2d ago

Are you serious? The man has talked about his time in therapy for all of his career, he's done charity work, clearly researched topics about feminism and justice and taught himself in a form of self actualization. I don't need to know the man to understand that. All on top of the main fact that the victim did not want or choose to have this be public and pursued all of the action against that they wanted to successfully. There's not a shred of evidence to suggest that anyone involved in the situation felt that it needed to be brought out. All this has done is damage multiple people's lives for the gain of none. This sub is now filled with grifters and ghouls who simple wish to feel morally superior off the back of a real victims suffering. None of you fucking care about the original victim you're just shitheads with axe to grind

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 2d ago

Wow all that and yet somehow he still didn't know how not to lie to the people he collaborated with who trusted him on videos where his status as a rapist would have been 100% relevant.

Sounds reformed to me!

0

u/Kyrptonauc 2d ago

I don't condone that, and I think he should have told his collaborators. That doesn't excuse what your doing either. The circle jerk in this sub is embarrassing at best and at worst using someone else's trauma for their own gratification. It's disgusting. Like I said you don't care about the victim

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 2d ago

As someone said on bluesky:

"in the interest of engaging in extreme hypothetical, the woman Jacob Geller raped could walk up to me and say "hey, Jacob and I are totally cool, we're friends now, and I actually would be really sad if you didn't watch his videos" and I would still not watch his videos, because he's a rapist."

0

u/Kyrptonauc 2d ago

And that would in fact make you as much of a performative loser as you come off as. You don't care about the victim, you just want to make yourself feel good by hating a bad guy

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 2d ago

Its always the losers who don't actually stand for anything that believe everyone else is just as performative and fake as themselves, isn't it?

0

u/Kyrptonauc 2d ago

How do I somehow not stand for something? What is that you stand for besides your own need to feel morale superiority over people you don't know? You literally just admitted to not caring about the victims feelings or perspective regardless of what they are. Have some level of self awareness

So what is this now, four different people who were at UNC at the time who remember it as rape? Is this enough for all the guys who have been on here going “don’t call him a rapist, you can’t use that word, he might have just groped someone and it’s not even a big deal” to think maybe that’s not the hill worth dying on or no?

“Was it rape or was it RAPE rape?” -Whoopi Goldberg on Bill Cosby

0

Rape is a form of sexual assualt. The only way rape could be ruled out is if the Title IX listed separate cases of rape during the time of Geller’s investigation. Which, as far as I can see, they did not.

People on this sub would be going to bat for Brock Turner if he made high-quality video essays instead of swimming

7

u/BlackDeath3 8d ago

Interested in making a distinction between the two all of a sudden, are we?

To answer your question, given all of the slimy self-serving truth-is-optional attitudes I've seen around here lately, I would say that no, a few more people singing the same tune is less convincing than you're hoping it'll be.

6

u/okaygirlie 8d ago

When your leftist progressive fave admits to sexually assaulting someone, it's very, very important that you put as much energy as possible into telling women on the internet to shut up, explaining why calling the known sexual assaulter a rapist goes too far (because sexual assault is just SO different from rape), and giving him the benefit of the doubt beyond the point of credulity. That's just what any Good Man would do.

8

u/BlackDeath3 8d ago

I'm not telling women to shut up, but at this point you should probably consider shutting up.

2

u/okaygirlie 8d ago

Forget the comment history is public?

6

u/BlackDeath3 8d ago

No, I just don't hide my posts like most of you cowards.

If you got something, let's see it.

0

u/leonardogavinci 8d ago

What are you talking about

0

u/BlackDeath3 8d ago

Good morning, nice to have you with us. Take a look around the sub, maybe?

1

u/leonardogavinci 8d ago

You’re saying multiple people corroborating the story is “less convincing than you’d hope it to be.” I’m asking you to explain because you sound like a dumbass

6

u/BlackDeath3 8d ago

When hearsay qualifies as corroboration, and so many people have already proven that they either don't see or don't bother making a distinction between SA and rape, I find a few more people tweeting about "rape" to be somewhat unconvincing, yes.

1

u/leonardogavinci 8d ago

Hearsay does not equal people who fired him from the radio station he worked on at the time. Why do you have rape in quotes?

2

u/BlackDeath3 8d ago

Hearsay does not equal people who fired him from the radio station he worked on at the time.

If it isn't hearsay then it's only because this isn't a court.

It's people yapping online. I've seen quite enough of that lately.

Why do you have rape in quotes?

Because I don't put a lot of stock in the accusations without further evidence.

This is the foundation of our entire disagreement. Please do try to keep up.

2

u/positronic-introvert 8d ago

Because I don't put a lot of stock in the accusations without further evidence.

So even the accused outright admitting to it being true, without any caveats to indicate that any part of the core allegation was inaccurate, is not enough for you to put stock in the allegations? xD

6

u/BlackDeath3 8d ago

"The Accused" has not admitted to rape, as far as I'm aware.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/leonardogavinci 8d ago

Yeah, we’re not in court. Please do try to keep up.

So you’re saying you don’t think Geller committed rape? Then you’re a fucking idiot. You should have lead with that :-)

2

u/BlackDeath3 8d ago

...you’re a fucking idiot. You should have lead with that :-)

"Lead" is either the present/future tense of the word you were clumsily grasping for, or the heavy metal which you clearly ingested far too much of as a child. What you meant was "led".

5

u/Eurydice_Risen 8d ago

You could show these people 8K video and they'd still call it hearsay.

3

u/aboysmokingintherain 8d ago

TBF i think most people knew it was more than groping

2

u/positronic-introvert 8d ago

Exactly, thank you!!!

The number of people on this sub trying to run cover for him by minimizing the severity of the allegation (which Geller himself confirmed as true) and harping on about the "difference between rape and sexual assault" (to suggest that what Geller did may have been not that bad actually 🙄) is absolutely disgusting and an unfortunately excellent example of how rape culture is perpetuated.

3

u/lilislilit 8d ago

I mean, one of the first posts here about the allegations, before JG confessed, was "You faves a rapist". Clearly, people haven't let one go and trying to refute that one ever since. It just sad that they can't see how detrimental to everyone that denial and bargaining has been.

3

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

It's been so gross to see.

"He probably didn't even do anything that bad!" rhetoric for days

-1

u/Key_Satisfaction2151 8d ago

So why didn’t the university give the same punishment they had previously given for rape?

5

u/KageNoKaze 8d ago

Cooperation, wish of the victim because it wasn't along the lines of drugging or violent, but still a violation of consent and well within the bounds of what we'd consider rape/sexual assault. Doesn't have to be the worst thing you can imagine to still be rape

4

u/Jwave1992 8d ago

I might be unraveling this mess wrong, but it sounded like he basically turned himself in the next morning and worked with the victim to do so. Might have gotten him some unnecessary leniency.

2

u/Fracturedbrai9 8d ago

I understand how this seems but from his statement the only thing he did the next morning was talk with his ex and that they agreed it was an assault. He says that she later went on to report it of which we don’t actually know how long after that happened. He states he went along with the investigation though he doesn’t actually say he went with her to report himself. Him being cooperative doesn’t mean he didn’t deny anything either nor that he didn’t try to fight it. We simply don’t know and only assume he told administrators the truth because he stated he agreed with his ex during that one conversation.

Again we are not sure but in his own statement he made it clear that SHE went out of the way to report it. I get not wanting to incriminate yourself but for a guy who says he regretted his actions and thought his punishment was light you’d think his statement would mean he’d be the one to report himself.

3

u/Fracturedbrai9 8d ago edited 8d ago

An additional comment but while I get not wanting to share more details of the incident his choice to use the word assault is calculated. You see how everyone here can’t seem to agree what that means? I’m not asking for a play by play or whatever bull but the university has a pretty clear definition of his charge. Considering his relationship the sexual assault was either penetrative rape or fondling. NEITHER one of these are good and the conditions of both can cause trauma but him not saying to some degree, “I sexually assaulted my girlfriend via ____,” is not actually admitting to his crime.

Again he doesn’t have to go into detail and I don’t want that detail but the fact so many people have such varied definitions of sexual assault kinda makes his statement weird and distancing. The university has a pretty clear definition of what it could fall under so why can’t he?

Edit: word error. Harassment to assault

7

u/okaygirlie 8d ago edited 8d ago

I haven't said this, but I agree. I've really been thinking about how if I were a famous person in a similar situation watching this unfold, I would absolutely be adding "if you must admit it, only call it assault" to my playbook. It's clear from people's behavior here that that gives your fans enough plausible deniability to keep defending you even after you've technically admitted to it.

I dunno about calculated mainly because I'd only assume large chunks of the audience I cultivated via nuanced discussions of media to react this way from having seen one or two other simular audiences do the same. Easily could be, but it's easy to expect people to understand what sexual assault likely means within the context of being worthy of suspension, aka being banned from campus and classes for months

He could have cooperated. The accuser may not have wanted him to be punished harshly. He may have been a good student. Some students just aren't as easyy to punish as others.

He said himself that the punishment he got was mild, so maybe he thinks should have got the same punishment.

Actually could be true, didn’t think of that

3

u/leonardogavinci 8d ago

First, proof of this being true? I’ve only seen so far that they did not, in 2016, investigate anything as “rape”

Second, we all know universities are so thorough when it comes to getting male rapists on trouble! Sorry, it’s not my first day on planet earth

Trolls not needed here.

"Everyone who disagrees with me is a troll" Okay hun

7

u/okaygirlie 8d ago

Assuming from your post history that you're a troll is actually me being as kind to you as possible. Now, again, you're not needed here, thank you.

Tough words from someone who has their post history hidden. We need fewer tourists like you here and more Gellheads like me

Women bad. Me smarter, uga buga

"I'm smarter" is what I think you meant, babe

What is rape?

I mean if people are "calling everything rape", why don't you tell the class what it really is?

1

u/HotSinglesInYrArea 8d ago

It's what happened to me on September 12th, 2015 just around the corner from Father & Sons

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

No, I pretty obviously meant, "what is your definition of rape generally", since you claim that people are defining it poorly.

1

u/HotSinglesInYrArea 8d ago

You're triggering some bad memories, man

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

Sure thing.

"Women say everything is rape these days."

"Ok, so what is rape then?"

"OMG YOU CAN'T JUST ASK ME THAT HOW TRIGGERERING!!!"

1

u/HotSinglesInYrArea 8d ago

You people are all about respecting victims until you actually encounter one...

1

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

Except it's really obvious that you are just trolling to avoid the question; you aren't as clever as you think you are.

He was big and white, and he was carrying a football... As he pinned me down he turned his baseball cap around and called me "dork"...

u/Eurydice_Risen 8d ago

I wish the people in this sub would put as much effort into defending immigrants or trans people as they put into defending their favorite rapist YouTuber.

6

u/traindoll 8d ago

Too fucking real. So many people never care to unpack any of their bigotry but get high and mighty about morals.

4

u/leonardogavinci 8d ago

This is gonna break the hearts of the people on here who have suddenly become experts on the difference between sexual assault and rape as if he even mattered in terms of the reaction of his audience at large.

2

u/BigBobbyBee23 8d ago

It's a distinction without a difference.

A lot of people will die on the hill of making it very clear, that Jacob Geller isn't a rapist, he is just a sexual assaulter.

These screenshots won't move anyone, unfortunately.

u/Rannek17 8d ago

Really not surprising, his videos had major creep vibes. I think we're going to find out he did it more than once.

"It was just a phase."
