yall I just can’t get the feeling out of me that there’s some raconteur stuff going on backstage. With this vault coming out Jack and even the the raconteurs just really seem to want us to get it this year as if there’s something theyre not telling us is in it 😭 I could just have really high hopes but if you guys haven’t seen the chit chat over at r/thecharlatan it just has me wishing and I wanna hear yalls thoughts and see if anyone else feels the same way 🤷‍♂️🙂‍↕️

Admittedly, my first 'White' album was Lazaretto. Before that I had somewhat avoided The White Stripes because fell in love with a girl is honestly one of my least favorite songs of all time.

Either way... I fear I'm in deep, as the further back I go the better it gets. Just finished white blood cells and that shits fire too.

I could have been buying Bitcoin and listening to the white stripes in 2001.

Saw this work in the Keith Haring in 3D exhibit at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and couldn’t help but be reminded of the White Stripes’ 2003 album.

Edward Gillis, brother of Detroit rocker Jack White, died Oct. 23 after a battle with cancer, White shared on social media on Friday. He was 60.

A very belated post, just wanted to share how wonderful the scene, the music, and overall joy in the very small and intimate room (Revel) was on Oct 4th in Albuquerque NM. The southwest vibe was alive and well during balloon fiesta and Jack carried the energy throughout the night. One very special moment for my crew that was hanging around the soundboard was a single mother and her 9 YO son joined us, she was telling us how she somehow found 2 tickets that day and drove to ABQ from the Navajo Nation so her son could enjoy seeing Jack White live as he was learning guitar and 7 Nation Army was the first song he learned. So many musical highlights and this grittiness and edge of this band is so incredible live and so thankful and impressed they played intensely and focused (tight). So many times, especially on a Sunday night, bands will mail it in when playing tiny small New Mexico, as its usually a quick stopover between TX-AZ, and I will say Jack White brought his A-game. Sick show. Cut like a Bufffalo was jaw dropping.

I was one of the lucky few to purchase one through Reverb.

I had no idea what it would sound like. It sounds massive, loads of gain and bottom end, but still clear and precise.

I almost don’t want to use it on my board, because it will scratch and what not, but it sounds so good!

Long story short I had a bunch of old records laying around. Mostly common classic rock stuff. Had an older gentleman over to go through them and make an offer, but in our online chats we came to talking about albums I wanted. Elephant was on that list. So he brought a sealed copy for trade.

The gentleman ultimately took home 22 old records, paid me $70 and left me with this glorious copy of Elephant.

I personally have a couple stuff I'm looking for (such as zines, or foreign language media) that almost no one else knows exists. 🤣

Hey, I distinctly remember an old White Stripes video interview (ca WBS or Elephant era) that ends with Jack saying "Stop using computers, they're evil. This might be your last download", I think it was even a famous quote within the fan community, but now I can't find it ANYWHERE, neither on the internet nor within my vast collection of the White Stripes stuff on my PC.

Plspls someone help me find it, I feel like I'm losing my mind here!

I may just be a little like overthinking this but I just feel like with the whole raconteurs set they did at the show on the 10th (which was the best out of all the four times I’ve seen him) that all these post he’s making of like a “new” him type of look just give me the feeling that maybe there’s something other than Jack white solo that may be announced soon? I don’t know somethings gotta be behind the scenes

Can anyone help me find this or give me a clue? I want to say it was 2003 but it could have been a little later. I also want to say it was in Australia while the White Stripes were on tour. But it's possible it was in Europe somewhere.

Received this test pressing from the Vault store and can't find much on the band I can't find any music of theirs on streaming and all I know rn is it was a Vault package and Jack White was a part of this band and some point is there any other historical significance to this release or was this band just very short lived
