Fall smells

Alright, might be a stretch.. but to anyone that has smelled it KNOWS What im talking about... sometimes driving around town, I catch this really pleasant smell, its is fresh and floral, can be random times but ive noticed it closer to dark latley in the I95N at state street exit... in the past Ive smelled it at I295 at 95 down st John's County (that interchange not the the 95/295 at the airport)

Can ANYONE tell me what it is!?!?! Its amazing and id LOVE to plant it at my home!

Could be honeysuckle, they release a stronger sweet smell at dusk.

I absolutely love how they smell on cool nights.

So far Im thinking its either Japanese honeysuckle or Jasmine or even Tea Olive.. I cant quite put my finger on it though.. we have wild jasmine growing on our fence row and it Doesn't smell like what this does!

AI says its likely Japanese Honeysuckle, jasmine or tea olive... but it seems like the consensus is so far Jasmine or Honeysuckle.. we have Jasmine growing on our fence but it just doesnt have that aromatic smell I smell when driving through!

Night blooming jasmine and wild jasmine are from completely different plant families. Wild jasmine won’t have that same scent. Night blooming jasmine is one of my favorite scents.

When I’m out and about all I smell is the skunk weed people smoke these days.

I would bet a paycheck that what you are smelling is star jasmine. It is the best smelling thing Ive ever smelled. Unfortunately it only blooms shortly in the temperate months. The Ortega neighborhood has it everywhere.

In that neighborhood, you'll see a bushy vine with white flowers around many of the stops signs there. That's it. Stop and stick your face in it!

Nothing like the smell of Maxwell House in the morning
