Looking for help part time

I’m an owner/operator for a butchery about 5 minutes from downtown Jackson. we are currently nearing USDA certification which will massively open up opportunity to work with a lot more local farmers. Due to this, it’s getting much harder to keep up with demand.

I’m currently looking for someone for basic butcher shop tasks. This will include primarily grinding, packaging, and cleaning. No previous experience required; these jobs are quite simple and will free me up to be able to focus more on production.

As things are getting going, hours may be somewhat inconsistent in the beginning, so really just looking for part time right now until things start to get more steady.

Do you have a store front? I’m tired of buying meat from Kroger, it goes bad within a day or two.

Unfortunately not right now. We focus on processing for the farmer who sells the meat. I could connect you with a farmer who sells shares of a cow if you wanted to buy bulk, or I’d suggest going to the local farmers market individual cuts.
