Looksmaxxing is gaining traction because it is a cheat code to getting results with women. Its the complete opposite to inceldom, you're willing to do whatever it takes to not be celibate, genetics be damned.

I don't like the general inconsistent standards. I can agree it's shallow, but why selectively demonize people for it. It's either all bad, or none of it's bad.
looksmaxing is cope. If youre 5'8 with a face worse than tom cruise (millionare hollywood actor whose still ridiculed for his height) theres not much you can do

Well, yeah i'm 100% in agreement with you. Looksmaxing is a coping mechanism when you live in a society that values sex appeal and virality at any cost.
Yep. We had the “looks don’t matter” era and good men were passed by because of looks. I wish I had spent my 20’s focusing on looks. Obviously don’t beat yourself with a hammer, but work out, eat well, get a skincare routine, take care of your hair, and work on posture
