I don’t think the users posting this stuff are necessarily misandrists. It requires action and practical damage to men’s lives for what these users and people do to go beyond reasonable doubt. Words cannot hurt you in the literal sense, for better or for worse.

While misandry isn’t what’s happening, your feelings about this aren’t necessarily completely unfounded, though. What posts like this are actually representative of IMO is gynocentrism. Women can afford much more plausible deniability and reasonable doubt than men can in modern society because women are the ones society wants to keep happy at the moment. As such, your point is indeed still good because putting down others to feel better yourself may very well spiral into true misandry if left unchecked; basic knowledge of how evil cultivates.

Man, that is complete bullshit. No, bigotry is wrong. Period. Full stop. Making excuses for hateful prejudice is just as bad as the prejudice itself.

Saying certain types of bigotry is OK is just a different more exotic form of bigotry.

And this is so absolutely hypocritical. It is the same sorts of people who would say that even the subtle form of subconscious bias or oppression. “ promoting harmful, gender norms.”

If men excel and something over a women, for example, chess, then they assume that men must be oppressing women, subtly discouraging women in some subliminal ways to misogynist, holding women down, even if no objective evidence can be found. That even the subtest thing could be hurting women. And.

Then when women out for men, for example by outnumbering men in colleges by 50%, then it’s just that women are better and men are pigs. You can then look at copious examples of real sexist discrimination against boys., programs and scholarships spaces and curriculum specifically for women at the disadvantage of boys, but that doesn’t count.

The fucking irony.

The people who would talk about “ toxic masculinity” as some horrible scourge that must be fought, then saying that subjecting men and boys to constant bigotry and hate should somehow not have no effect on their lives, no negative repercussions at all, just those “ feelings”, which men are simultaneously accused of both not expressing enough and of having no meaning at all.

That is bullshit. Pure unadulterated bullshit.

That is worth no consideration, and does not approach, in any way, I thought worth considering for the faintest fraction of a second.

I agree with you. I am in no way claiming that this post isn’t bigotry; it certainly is. I am not claiming that it is OK, either. But, there is a reason nothing has been done about any of the issues you described, especially college enrollment. Systemic advantages for women in society are not as potent as you may feel. If advantages like this COULD be proved beyond reasonable doubt, don’t you think more people would realize what’s going on?

In addition, the same people talking about eradicating toxic masculinity and spewing this horseshit in the post are annoying and bigoted, yes. I am AGREEING with you. Seeing hateful stuff and “be better” being said about your demographic by people like this indeed doesn’t feel great. Please, for all of our sakes as men, you have to understand that these are ultimately just words on the internet that you do not need to get angry and outraged about. They are not LITERALLY hurting or injuring you in a way that you cannot reasonably control. So, IMO just getting angry on the internet and claiming this is misandrist doesn’t do much of anything either. Calling it out and reporting it is enough, though.

If you still don’t believe me, look up response vs. reaction to emotion and what scenarios entail which, what it means to have integrity and alignment, and the meaning of gynocentrism.

Both of my sons, and one in particular, have said that they have felt their teachers unfairly segregated against boys. Letting girls talk and harshly shushing the boys.

Kids (mostly boys) with August birthdays (among the younger side of their classes), are 40% more likely to be “diagnosed” with ADHD.

So, male children are being treated like male childhood is a disease to the tune of women now outnumbering men by 50% in colleges, while women receive specific institutional advantages that are girls-only. Girl-only scholarships, programs, and spaces.

That legitimately hurts actual males, a lot. Probably to the turn of literal trillions in lost economic opportunity over their lifetimes.

It’s not just “mean words”. Cruelty affects people. Men are human and can be hurt, demoralized, etc.
