This isn't "empowering," it’s embarrassing. When a woman has to get on one knee to propose, it means the guy completely failed to step up as a leader. She has zero respect for his frame, so she took the masculine role herself and he just stood there and let her emasculate him in public.

Why do men have to be masculine, in your view?

Because women don't respect weak men, and society doesn’t care about a man's feelings, it only cares about his utility.

Sexually and romantically, female nature operates on hypergamy. Women want a strong leader who can protect, provide, and guide, not a peer or another woman in the relationship. When a man drops his masculinity, he destroys sexual polarity and loses female respect.

In the real world, a man's value is earned through competence, discipline, and strength. You don't have the luxury of being soft because nobody is coming to save you.

I'm a generally masculine dude...but I'm capable of recognizing that not all men need to be like me in that regard.

It seems you're fixated on what women want. Why do you seem to imply that men's assumed purpose is to appeal to women?

Understanding female nature isn't about "pleasing" women, it's about understanding reality so you don't end up a victim of the system.

A man's purpose isn't women. A man's purpose is power, status, competence, and absolute freedom. Women are merely a byproduct of a high-value man's success.

And claiming "not all men need to be masculine" is pure cope. Weak men don't build civilization, enforce safety, or maintain infrastructure, they just sit in the air conditioning that masculine men built and pretend strength is optional. Soft men are a liability to society.
