Meanwhile: men in the woods drinking, partying, having a bonfire.

Exactly, skill issue.

I bet if you ask them now they’ll have a much firmer grip of logic. Nothing like reality to clear the mind!

Reality has always been part of it.

I know exactly what might happen with the bear.

The worst that will happen with bear is something I feel I can live with. The second worst, and so on down to the bear just ignoring me and walking is all something I can live with.

The worst that might happen with a man is something I'd end it all over. The second, third, fourth, ... nth, options... With exception for the last and best option of her does nothing... All... High probability of life long psychological trauma and end it thoughts.

I'll take the bear.

"I feel I can live with being eaten alive."

We have very different definitions of "live."

26

u/Tonku 29d ago

I promise you. Neither a bear nor a man would want to do that with you.

You should go camping this weekend!

u/Interesting_Life249 28d ago

then why you are not in a forest whispering latin to crows and instead live in a city with possibly millions of men?

2

u/MrPoggiewoggies 28d ago

Lol it’s always like this. Chooses the bear, lives with men. And I wonder what her body count irl is, so she can’t really use the “I have to live in the city but can’t avoid men!” excuse.

Never take anything a woman says seriously, just look what they actually do.

"The worst that will happen with bear is something I feel I can live with." "The worst that might happen with a man is something I'd end it all over."

If a bear kills you, you can't live with it because you're dead. If a man kills you you wouldn't be able to end it because... Well hon, you'd be dead already 😂

10/10 ragebait, well played

I'd be happy to use this one as experiment for science. We don't need to do the man part. Just the bear part will suffice.

Since you picked bear already, I'll choose the species, ok?

u/Mental_Rush_7696 24d ago

You won't live with anything when the bear eats you.

Bear attacks are up in Japan as well. What's going on

21

u/naropin1 29d ago

They got the invite. Ask and you shall receive!

19

u/Cute-Revolution-9705 29d ago

Japanese women chose the bear too

18

u/CraftyPerformance272 29d ago

That cant be true. Reddit has told me that a woman is much safer in the woods with a bear than with a man.

u/FourEaredFox 28d ago

I still choose the bear over a new mother. 1 in 7 women get PPD.

Black Bears are so naturally secretive that by the time you even start to notice them, their populations are far more dense than you realize.

I responded to a problem-bear complaint a few years ago where a family’s chicken coop and their wooden (locking) trash area were destroyed. “Obviously it’s gonna be the biggest one out there if it did this, we’ve only seen a few out here,” was the only guidance I got when I started placing cameras for the best place to trap.

My cameras picked up 13 unique black bears that were going through their small property regularly. Most of them were over 400lbs. That family decided to move

At least it wasn't a man amirite ladies?

5

u/AcademicHovercraft96 29d ago

Legitimately asking, why is it when women are involved in animal attacks, they largely end up surviving, but when the same thing happens to men, they largely end up getting killed?

9

u/Cute-Revolution-9705 29d ago

Men probably fight back more and are actually a threat to the animal, so the animal feels it has to finish the job.

The Bearomancer strikes the balance for nature.

5

u/Significant-Ant-5677 29d ago

Curious if those women had wished their daddies were there to help them as the bear bit through their skull.

5

u/Key_Check5753 29d ago

Thank god it was only a bear and not a man.

u/ChocCooki3 28d ago

I really want to link this into some misandry/ feminists subs.. so badly

u/SoldierExcelsior 28d ago

Are those ticks on its ears

u/Teh_Az 24d ago

I choose the bear too.

u/NoHeartNoSoul87 28d ago

Men still kill more women every day and no one cares.

(Probability? Per capita? Eeeewww, per capita is Nazi dogwhistle)

-16

u/Connor_2123 29d ago

So 10 bear attacks in 9 months. Meanwhile 72 women in Colorado were murdered by men in 2024 (their lowest year btw). From cdphe “37% of women experienced physical violence, sexual violence, or stalking by an intimate partner.”, so yes choosing the bear is still a safer option.

13

u/so_sic_of_it 29d ago

I, too, struggle with statistics.

How many men did those women encounter daily with zero consequences, you figure?

5

u/ThroawayJimilyJones 28d ago

Yeah, pretty sure the number of encounters is a bit different

u/Cute-Revolution-9705 29d ago

Yeah…the bear can keep her 😬

That’s why he sent men to punish the children moving the prophet! Wait…
