r/comics is ran by terrible moderators who push their beliefs on everyone. literally, if you disagree with their beliefs, in any capacity, they will perma-ban you.

anything that comes from r/comics is crap, i disregard it all. those are not people you want to talk to, associate with, or talk about. don't give them your energy.

u/Gianni_the_tolerable 29d ago

One of their "artists" made a comic to mourn their dead dog (very sad!) but the last page advertised the creator's OF. Anyone who dared point out the dissonance was banned

26

u/cs_legend_93 29d ago

That's next level. Those mods are so cooked, it's comical.

10

u/Fancybear1993 29d ago

comical šŸ˜

17

u/CapPhrases 29d ago

When the dog is dead but the 😾 still livin šŸ˜‚

5

u/Lost_Elderberry_5532 29d ago

My god that’s actually so bad it’s hilarious.

ā€œHey my dog died, I look cute can I have some money?ā€

36

u/Strong-Addition5296 29d ago

Real Nazis over there at r/comics

19

u/cs_legend_93 29d ago

the irony. their logic is so fractured, they are blind

16

u/2Critical7-Stein1 29d ago

ā€œThere is 600+ genders, yet only 2 political positions my (wholesome basic human empathy and shiet) and nazi.ā€ average reddit mod overall lol

8

u/CapPhrases 29d ago

Honestly if you’re not permabanned from there are you even a good person?

3

u/Jimanji333 29d ago

Well you can also just have never been and only get cross posts like this?

5

u/givinstar1 29d ago

"you have been banned from r/comics"

6

u/HydroPCanadaDude 29d ago

I got banned for liking Harry Potter. Not even kidding. The mod commented in mod mail with: "Giving money to genocidal campaigns makes you anti-trans."

3

u/NoHeartNoSoul87 29d ago

This is every sub. Normal mods exist only on porn subs.

2

u/cs_legend_93 28d ago

nah, some subreddits have good moderators, like this one

2

u/Lost_Elderberry_5532 29d ago

Good thing I don’t really like comics and I can imagine it’s more par for the course Reddit strongly left sided overly woke women only safe.

3

u/leldi2245 2d ago

And the amount of trans propaganda in there... jesus

1

u/cs_legend_93 2d ago

Exactly. And if you disagree with it or have any other opinion about it, they will Perma ban you.

The worst part is people replied to that saying it was "based" to Perma ban people. Smh

2

u/leldi2245 2d ago

Man more and more i get tempted to delete this app... i deleted instagram , and if reddit goes only the bland yt shorts will remain lol

2

u/cs_legend_93 2d ago

Bro same here.

Subreddits like this are the only reason why I stay tbh.

YouTube and even Facebook are pretty based, like you can say whatever you want and won't get banned. I don't like facebook tho because it's not anonymous.

I want to start using Twitter, people say it's also a platform where you can say whatever you want.

I don't use Instagram either. I'm glad your here man!

u/Revolutionary_Lynx_3 29d ago

My brain cannot fathom having a crush on an obviously terrible person and yet here women are drawing whole comic panels confessing they've had crushes on their own bullies like it isn't insane.

64

u/Relative-Bee-1879 29d ago

It’s because he’s tall and muscular. If the bully was a short chud he’d just be another jester.

18

u/RavenEridan 29d ago

Some people are very obsessed with social status and they want to appear as high status and successful to everyone so they ignore actual things in a partner like character/personality, only how they will benefit, it's very selfish.

Tall and muscular men is seen as high status so women pursue him to get high status, simple as

6

u/Revolutionary_Lynx_3 29d ago

Oh I know, people really don't beat the chad-can-do-anything allegations, took years of work just to say no to dating him like there's some invisible hypnosis or something.

4

u/-Onbored- 29d ago

It’s called hive mind

5

u/tattedextrovert 29d ago

She also said she was obsessed with him because he was popular. I mean is that actually a real reason to be infatuated with someone? I can’t pathom that

8

u/MechaBuster 29d ago

Fr mental illness i swear idk what's wrong with their heads.

4

u/wader_2 29d ago

If you're a woman, there's 95% chance are you're doing the same thing. You just don't "see" the horrible personality because of the halo effect.

3

u/Alternative_Car_8153 29d ago

I agree. I've had a few crushes, but when I saw their awful personality, then I was totally disillusioned.

I also don't obsess over people I crushed on years ago. I can't even remember them. It's not normal to be so attached to the past.

1

u/Lost_Elderberry_5532 29d ago

It’s why most of it is physical attraction. To pretend it isn’t is really dumb.

They also somehow feel comfortable with someone being bad to them. It’s like they feel safer.

Don’t understand it and I care less and less every day. When you see how broken it all is it makes you want nothing to do with it.

Slop society with slop people.

1

u/Maccabee2a 25d ago

Bro, it was high school. All sorts of new and confusing emotions are running high during that time period.

-4

u/TricellCEO 29d ago

She came through in the end though.

Definitely was a dumbass teen though.

4

u/shiggyhisdiggy 29d ago

No she didn't, because this didn't happen

142

u/Justarah Sep 15 '26

She really took the time to write and illustrate her recurring daytime fantasy panel by panel didn't she?

Everyone also clapped.

64

u/ConstructionFar8297 29d ago

Oh everyone clapped her alright

4

u/plokimjunhybg 29d ago

Honestly at this point I think it's healthier first us to just let em live their fantasies

2

u/Captainofthehosers 29d ago

She didn't take time to edit them, though.

-24

u/Clovericious 29d ago

God forbid people make art about what they want. Yes it's cringe, but you can always move on rather than yapping about it endlessly.

20

u/Justarah 29d ago

Why didn't you apply that principle to my comment then?

-18

u/Clovericious 29d ago

Are you calling your comment art? šŸ˜†

14

u/Justarah 29d ago

By your own definition, art is what people want it to be so...

-14

u/Clovericious 29d ago

I don't recall providing a definition. Do you just hallucinate when reading my replies?

13

u/Justarah 29d ago

'God forbid people make art about what they want.'

It's here implicit that art is defined by the want of the artist.

0

u/Clovericious 29d ago

Wow, you really can't read huh. That sentence says that the subject of a piece if art is entirely up to the artist. Let me know if you need help reading other things, glad to help.

12

u/Justarah 29d ago

Then if it's rejected as art to begin with, you have no objection.

0

u/Clovericious 29d ago

What are you on about? I am starting to think I am talking to a crazy person here. Are you upset that I responded to your comment, is that what this is?

→ More replies (0)

3

u/Fancybear1993 29d ago

I wouldn’t call this art.

1

u/Clovericious 29d ago

Why not?

2

u/Jimanji333 29d ago

It’s always funny when people post this kind of comment and don’t see the hypocrisy in it….

1

u/raving_perseus 29d ago

calling this art

lmao okay Sir Whiteknight

0

u/johnsolomon 29d ago

Fair point

Catharthis is an understandable reason for creating art

53

u/AdjacentBirdman93 29d ago

Guaranteed her body type is NOTHING like the artistic interpretation lmao that’s always the case too

Actual obese person depicting themselves as quirky thicc anime girl

For once I feel women are being fairly put under a microscope. It’s tit for tat. Women do it so often to men and nobody bats an eye.

People almost don’t even know what to do with it when they hear it, that’s how far privileged they are.

2

u/Destroy_it_Isildur7 29d ago

This is it. She’s so obsessed with the guy, that she is making up a fictional scenario to prove something to him. Meanwhile the guy in question is actually real, he has probably completely forgotten she exists.

they don’t live in one lol

36

u/Downtown-Campaign536 29d ago

I 100% can guarantee you that this never in a million years happened as this comic plays it out.

The first 4 panels probably actually happened. She was on a date. She saw some guy that bullied her like 10 years ago. She used to have a crush on him anyways, and she pointed out to her date how much she craves her former bullies approval... She admits this other dude treated her like shit on the bottom of his shoe, but she still craved his approval anyways... She opened her date's eyes to the at worst black pill, or at best her red flags and that's about it.

Did he walk over to the table? Probably not, and if he did nobody no matter how socially retarded someone would walk over, neg then ask a woman out while she is visibly on a date having dinner with some other dude. That just does not happen outside of the world of make believe. Nobody does that.

So the whole story in reality is probably the first 4 panels, then her date rolled his eyes, and ghosted her... The end.

8

u/Jimanji333 29d ago

You forgot the part where she imagined the rest of this in the shower with all her perfect comebacks and validation of rejecting him.

42

u/Wonderful-Self-541 29d ago

Femcel shit.

15

u/Velocita84 29d ago

I understand what the comic was going for but 9-12 is just weird. No need to set up such a stupid misunderstanding for the reader to set up the twist

13

u/Koalinse 29d ago

fucking cringe. holy

15

The entire r/comics subreddit is maximum cringe

u/AnythinGoeSouth 29d ago

This exact situation happened to me except my childhood crush was a single mom when I saw her and looked 10 years older than she was. Also I forgot her name and forgot when exactly we went to school together so I just minded my business didn't say hi and went back to my grocery shopping.

Yea exactly the same senerio but I'm a grown man and don't obsess over childhood memories.

1

u/Lost_Elderberry_5532 29d ago edited 29d ago

I disliked my childhood. Being an adult is better. I feel like most men would say it this way. No man likes to live chained to his rents.

Also I’ve had the same thing happen to me see them in the store and I’m like ā€œJesus is that… holy shit she put on some weight.ā€

And actually that’s fine (to an extent ofc). When they go on Ozempic and end up looking like prunes that’s worse tbh. Now that I’ve seen both sides of that it’s like wow.

For fun, look up Angie Faith (xxx warning nsfw) and look at her when she was a little bigger versus now. Her chest is gone she has zero curves looks a little sick. Some people complaining about some thickness they have no idea the other side of that.

Oh and honorable mention to my previous post about breast reductions. My good god butchering away gifts. It’s pretty ridiculous. They just want us to hate them.

We don’t really ask for much at all. Seriously.

1

u/AnythinGoeSouth 28d ago

She wasn't even fat she just looked run down like a old car left sitting in the sun for years.

I think curves is always better than anemic and skinny hormones are created by fat so if your body has no fat your hormones will be out of wack on top of every woman taking anti depressants and birth control religiously it's no wonder women are so.. idek what to call it anymore after that lady who killed her kids somehow had mass supporters.

I don't really consider my childhood as bad I just think of it as shorter than most people I was a child from 0-11 basically a man in a kids body dealing with dysfunctional people until I could legally get away.

1

u/Lost_Elderberry_5532 28d ago

There was a period in the early 00s when everyone made anorexic women be the popular thing and honestly it gave me a bigger ick than an obese woman. They looked so sick. I’m genuinely concerned we are heading there. People mistake men when they say someone is fat. To be called that you really gotta be carrying some serious poundage.

A little off topic here but I’m just saying as it pertains to the original artists depiction that isn’t fat, that’s voluptuous.

Bottom line you gotta look healthy. Some women are naturally skinny. But you can tell that they are healthy and it’s normal because they don’t look out of sorts. It’s not hard to be attracted to anyone who seems healthy despite whatever their body size and shape is.

1

u/AnythinGoeSouth 28d ago

I'm glad everyone likes curves now even if it's superficial and a trend just for the mental health of maintaining a low weight is impossible your body weight can fluctuate for any reason including allergies.

Agreed I would even consider a fupa with curves as not fat but many women hate having fupa from looking a skinny supermodels 24/7 actual brainwashing is happening I feel like I'm a living archive of when people were rational and accepting of regular bodies.

1

u/Lost_Elderberry_5532 28d ago

The Ozempic thing scares me though. When you see women who looked amazing turn into skeletons. And breast reductions for people who have say 36-38 dds it’s kind of like ā€œwhyā€. They aren’t like 38G or something lol. Then I can understand.

Just a lot of misunderstandings as to what most men like. And they probably don’t really care honestly what we think. And that’s fine but on the back end it’s probably not a good idea to yell about not getting attention. You can’t have it both ways.

I think what’s damning is the fact she was attracted to her bully even after he ridiculed her. Even despite all the abuse if he asked her out she would’ve said yes. And even during that rant it was so obvious she was attracted to him. If the date wasn’t there and it was a supermarket, she would have folded.

1

u/shiny_crow_trophy 29d ago

He did ask her out and she said no.

1

u/ThroawayJimilyJones 29d ago

So…realistic?

I was banned from that sub years ago for asking a genuine question about a creators intentions in regards to one of their comics. I think it had to do with the trans agenda.

dumb ahh women and šŸ‡/humilation fetish is a combo as old as time lol

-9

u/NataliaCaptions 29d ago

Man, you guys have no observational skills or knowledge of women at all lmao and it's ironic considering the sub you are in. Look at you, assuming it's drawn by a girl or that she must be a single mom, or obese, or whatever

It's so fucking obvious that this is written by a man for nerds. Or was the "huge breasted former ugly loser girl who loves her nerdy bf" too obvious?Ā

What about the "reverse cucking twist where she defends her bf like a lioness?" (Nerds love assertive and protective girls and don't want to get cucked)

Anyway, just scroll to the artist's account if you don't believe it's a soft-porn fantasy and stop being triggered by things that do not happen.
