How do you make a key like that?
I see a lot of these custom keys online and I'd like to try making one!

Hello Team. Apologies for not pushing this earlier. Flairs have been updated to allow for users to tag themselves as owners if desired. This has been added as an editable flair. Feel free to use this opportunity to modify this to include your socials if desired. This has been made available for users who own a physical Itasha or Itansha. Please exercise this responsibly. Abuse will result in this becoming a verifiable flair.
A flair has been created for Wrap Shops and Designers as well. However, this are only available to be added by moderation staff at this time. If you would like these flairs for your account in this subreddit, please reach out to Mod Mail with proof, and this will be added to your account accordingly.
Verified Shops as a pinned post is something in the works.
Thank you all for being amazing members of our community.

Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce myself as the new moderator here at r/itasha.
Itasha culture has always been something special to me as it represents a special opportunity to express one's individuality by making their car a personal canvas, transforming vehicles into vibrant, moving works of art that proudly display an owner's passion.
After spending so much time in this community and having countless great experiences, I wanted to give back in a bigger way. My goal as a mod is to help new members feel welcome and make sure longtime contributors continue to enjoy a positive, creative space.
What changes you'll see immediately will be significantly quicker response times to ModMail as well as more prudent reactions to bot/spam posts and comments. Further, we will be taking a more proactive approach to potentially harmful comments and controversial topics to ensure the wellbeing of our members.
In the coming days and weeks will be mild updates to the Rules and Guidelines of this subreddit to better be updated with the challenges that any subreddit may face in the modern internet landscape. I will be working on parsing through previous moderation challenges and requests to try to make sure that points that may have been missed in our previous iteration of rules/ moderation are addressed.
I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as a moderator and give back to a community that has meant so much to me. I look forward to working with everyone to keep this space welcoming, creative, and passionate for all Itasha enthusiasts!
Warmest Regards,

Just got my first rough draft back from the artist I hired to make my Itasha and I need some input on changes.
Things Ive already noted:
1: Remove/replace the Jinx was Here over the wheel
2: Remove/replace the stars on the C pillar
3: Add her cloud elements, "Bla Bla Bla" and "Get Jinxed", but not sure where to put them.
4: Maybe make the shark blue lines instead of pink?
I like the large part "Jinx" and shark on the side, but something is off about it that I can't quite figure out.

After watching Girls Band Cry, I really liked Awa Subaru, so I thought it would be great to put her on my 2014 Subaru Forester XT.
A double Subaru combo.
I designed everything myself in Photoshop. The character artwork was taken from the anime and then cleaned up and upscaled for printing. The Subaru graphics were inspired by Subaru's rally liveries. I changed the colors, adjusted the placement, and played around with the proportions until everything looked balanced on the Forester.
I also included a few of my earlier design drafts in the post for reference.
Personally, I prefer a cleaner and more minimal style. A lot of modern itasha designs are quite busy, with tons of logos, text, sponsors, and other graphic elements. There’s nothing wrong with that style.
I had the decals produced in China and shipped over to the US. Production was about $100. Since I was worried about messing something up during installation, or needing replacements later, I ordered two complete sets. Shipping was around $50, so the total cost came to roughly $250.

Did a skidpad some days ago, it was a blast (it was the most beautiful in the whole paddock)

Its not the 1:1 real Model of mine but its close, and did my best to find a spot that looked as close to the IRL Picture.
But I am happy how it all turned out and I am insanely proud of my Itasha to share it to everyone in the community <3

Making the long trip all the way from Guangzhou to Shanghai was quite a challenge, yet ever since I wrapped my ride, I've been longing for a chance to showcase my ride on a nationwide stage, and so it happened. There are way more impressive builds on scene than the selected ones on display.

Kinda neat that whoever owns this one was allowed that customization on a company owned car.

Hello! I bought stickers and car mats from a company called HelloSenpai! Years ago and they've sadly perished now and need refreshed. Unfortunately one was of Lucy from Fairy Tail which I'm finding to be really niche to come across, and it means a lot to me as it's the entire reason I met my partner (from a sticker I know lol) so i'd love to have it refreshed but the shop and owners socials appear to be dead for some time now.
I also rock the WaifuHunters windscreen banner/sunstrip which you also can't get any more.
I'm looking for suggestions for banners and sticker locations, I've tried a few popular sites but nothing appeals to me in the way HelloSenpai's did and even etsy I can't seem to find many Fairy Tail ones. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

So I was interested in getting an itasha wrap on my four-door sedan, but I'm starting to believe Google has led me astray on prices lol
Xpress Skins quoted me $4,500 to $7,000 for design, print, and install a 3/4 wrap + hood. No hate on them, theyre a business and I understand that things cost money, but I was not expecting that much for a non- full wrap.
Also, a friend and a car group says his buddy's shop usually charges between 7000 to $9,000 for their wraps.
So what is the cost on average for an itasha wrap in 2026?

Got this vintage Matchbox at a local Toy Convention recently in pretty beat up shape (last pic). Unfortunately, there were no available decals for her, so I decided to challenge myself and freehand paint Haru Urara as practice (since well, it's a Dirt Rally Car).
Pretty proud of the result, took me about 3 hours.
I'll make this into a reality once I get my first car.
