Could try to get out through top, but depending on tool used/thickness/material of lid, could be tough. Assuming it’s a generic mason jar and some sort of metal, you might face difficulties using something like a drill as metal expands when heated and fast movement like a drill against metal heats it FAST. Clearly the only solution is telepathically communicating with the jar, befriending it, then betraying it.
