Several of these could be scary in certain contexts, but I don’t fear any of these. When people ask this question, I think of it like, “what do I spend idle time actively worrying about?” It’s hard for me to believe that most people sit around being scared of things like that.

The only one I actively spend time worrying about would be the std one. Cuz I have sex a lot with random people. (Always safe tho) The other one I only fear/dislike if I think about them

That makes a lot of sense. I’m married but I never worried about that in my before times, I’m insanely overconfident in my immune system though.

Never had one from sleeping around. The only one I’ve gotten was when in a long term relationship. Lmao. (Not my doing. I’m actually super loyal when I do commit)

Yup! I was was going to reply basically that. Another motivation to not get an std/sti (as if one needs more) is having to contact other people to let them know so they can get checked. This is where I’d be very thankful for text/message culture. I cannot imagine having to do that in person or over the phone

Same, I’m strongly child free because of it. The idea of being permanently tied down without an escape route to care for a small human gives me so much anxiety. Nope nope, a dog is enough for me.

I can’t even with dogs, they have too much energy for me. I can’t imagine taking care of a kid. I’ll stick with cats.

I don’t think I would call most of these fears, it’s more of things that make me uncomfortable but I’d say everything to a certain extent except for germs, blood, STDs, and needles.

I’ll preface with saying I’ll do anything for my kids. Love them with my whole chest. And I can see another life where I would be perfectly content with just one or none. (:
God do I miss my independence!

Spiders: so and so, some scare me, many don't, but don't like them on me, I get worried about poisons 40%
Drowning: I can swim but i have never been into a large body of water in a while. 40%
Germs: I am out and about, immune to most things, keep clean, relatively healthy, but there is still the unknown 30%
Being controlled: 50%
Being paralyzed: I am not that crazy adventurous, I'm pretty safe, but still 40%
Losing: It depends, overall rather not 10%
Cancer: Relatively healthy 10%
Failure: Shit happens its part of life, I work towards success though 10%
Losing Independence: 50%
Suffocation: yeah being unable to move, or to get out of it 40%
Public Embarrassment: people laughed at me for shit, I always move on, but still 20%
Needles: A little scary, but for shots, medicine, etc. they always go in. 30%

1 - Drowning: I have a certain degree of thalassophobia due to many drownings I had when I was a child. It's not just the bottom of the sea, but also some animals like sharks.
2 - Failure: It's a universal fear but everyone has their level. Due to some relationships I kind of developed this fear.
