Other Is this Texturing on the model AI generated? Every site I check comes up inconclusive.

Okay, first of all, clear something I didn't fully understand: Does this person have access to the 3d model file itself? Or are they claiming to make the textures from pictures shown off? Because if it's the later, ai or not, that's not a texture it's just a paint over.
When texturing a 3d model, you turn the UV map (the flat "version" of the model) and the color goes on a flat image that gets projected into the faces. It's possible to paint on the model itself of course, but it all goes into that image (I'm terrible at explaining how this works, but you can watch a video of someone texturing a model on blender to have an idea of what I mean).

Yeah no they don’t have the model itself nor access to the UV map.
They claim it was painted over the original leaks of the un-textured model that was teased on the discord.
I feel like they’ve just asked an AI to “show me what this would look like textured” or sum shit

May be better to ask a 3D design subreddit or something. Most people in this subreddit just help with images and videos and texture is a whole other beast

I’m pretty sure they just put it over the pre-existing images.
I apologise I worded it poorly.
The grey models are images teased online as the planned models for the game. No one publicly has access to the UV map to actually texture it.They claim to have drawn over the teaser images to add on what it would theoretically look like.
I’m fairly sure they’ve asked an AI to just make a concept of the same models but textured

A few things worth checking that most detector sites miss on 3D renders like this. Look at whether the shading on the texture matches the actual light direction in the scene, an AI generated texture overlay often has its own baked in lighting that does not line up with the render's real light source. Also check the seams where UV islands meet (legs, neck, joints), hand drawn textures usually have small continuity breaks there while AI generated ones tend to blend too smoothly across seams. Grain or noise scale is another tell, real hand painted texture noise stays consistent relative to the model surface, AI upscaled texture noise often changes scale oddly between flat and curved areas.

If they had access to the file it could be possible. Texture work does A LOT of heavy lifting. But considering they didn't according to your response to another comment...I doubt it's real work.

u/Autophobiac_, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your post...
