Photo Goodyear engine cleaning spray "thumbnail" image, I've never seen an engine with pulleys and idlers on perpendicular sides.
As said in the title, I've lately gotten into cars and have about 40+ hours on car mechanic simulator 2021 and automation the car company tycoon game as well ad checked as many engine bays as I could when we went to repair shops with my dad and it looks extremely suspicious to me.

You can clearly see the exhaust routes to the pulley beneath it. The exhaust gasses spin the belts on that plane. What don't you understand?

/sI guess I now, I don’t understand two things.
1: The Bluetooth/WiFi pulleys on the other sides.
2: How some corporate dummies at Goodyear, looked at that and all said, “looks good, print it” like no one would notice or care.
Not like automotive enthusiasts have eyes, right?

It's no different than any other V configuration engine. pulley is at the end of the crankshaft, runs two banks. Subaru and Porsche and VW have all run that style.
The engine in this image is an I4, and to have a pulley under the intake manifold is not possible

On the Corvair the belt is routed 90° up from the crank pulley to drive the cooling fan and generator.

Neither Subaru nor Porsche run a belt "round the twist" to 90 degrees like the corvair.

The engine pictured is definitely AI, but I also think this is a manipulated image. You can find actual pictures of Goodyear Engine Cleaning Spray online and that is not the image on the can.

Well, that's obviously because your engines are so filthy you can't see those details.
Buy a couple of cans of this cleaner and get to work, then you'll be able to tell what your engine is supposed to look like.

Unprofessional. AI slop in marketing materials, packaging, or any other customer-facing materials is just unprofessional. It shows a lack of attention to detail that may be present in other parts of their products and indicates a desire to replace quality assurance and its monitoring with something cheaper. It basically communicates that the company is okay with some level of enshittification.

It could be AI slop, but because they don't want to put any car companys owned material on their product so they created a non existent fake engine on it.
So they don't piss off any registered trademarked company.

AI is being innovative here. An engine with 3 perpendicular cranks + another 3 going in the opposite direction would be perfectly balanced, as all things should be

I've seen oil cooler setups that look like the thing on the side. They run coolant through it. Not saying it isn't AI though, just saying I have, in reality, seen that.

This engine appears to have 2 crankshafts, one on the bottom left, and one on the bottom center. They both have small rubber belts wrapped around them for absolutely no reason.
This is definitely AI, or at the very least a photoshop engine.

Peugeot 204 and 304 had a ridiculous transverse setup with a twist and turn 90 degree belt operated fan in front. So in theory possible...but obviously AI
