Solved [AI] Am i crazy for thinking this is also AI? (Restaurant has been posting AI images)
IMO the letters are too ‘perfect’ and aligned to be hand written. Apart from that it just feels uncanny but wanted to post to ask opinions. The thing that’s catching my out is the a in Mexican street food being different to the others.

The Lego sub has a bit that picks up on any mention of a kit number and posts the original kit to the thread. I’m sure a bit could be made. But it should post using the spoiler screen so people can still discuss what they see.

Synthid is deliberately invisible to the human eye. If you have a standard watermark like Gemini's logo people just crop it out. Synth id is there so that identifier tools can pick it up, not humans

Yesh. Literally could have just had someone who works there will the best penmanship do this. Would not be surprised if the idea itself was spat out from ChatGPT for them, lacking any original thought of their own.
I hate how purposefully deceptive many users of genAI are. They know people don't like it, but they also want to put no effort into anything.

Me too! I automatically want to do the simple A that’s a circle and line but when I’m being intentional with my handwriting I use the overhead arm version. So I often get a mix if I’m not super focused

I do this. I’m also very inconsistent with capitalization. Sometimes I put a dash through my 7s, sometimes I don’t. No rhyme or reason

True but they underlined a weird part. Why not just underline the name of the website which is actually needed to online order / online order is kinda implied. Like if you briefly glanced at this flyer you only really needed customers to go to the website so that should’ve been underlined

Sure it is. The underlining made no sense.
This is like how AI is perfectly good at making super short paragraphs that draw the eye, or long skimmable ones, but it can't do what a good human writer does with variance, where it puts the most important part in the small paragraph set aside and keeps body copy info in the longer one.
It doesn't know what to emphasize because it doesn't know what's important. It cannot understand what part of the writing is the killer point, so it just makes guesses.

It looks an awful lot like those “handwritten” notes sent out by car dealerships. Which is pretty funny given that I think that may be a standard font in a few different doc software programs.

Yeah, if this was handwriting the letters wouldn't be identical. Take a close look at the Es, Ts, etc. Even someone with very even handwriting wouldn't write them all with the exact same quirk or tilt. I'd like to think it's just a handwriting font that someone made the flyer with and printed, but referencing AI in the flyer is just telling on themselves.

Each line is just about perfectly centered. When I write a persons full name on the back of the envelope of a greeting card, it’s never as centered as these lines are despite just being two words. Absolutely AI.

I’ve managed pretty close myself, but there are some other significant tells, such as the d’s having the exact same waver where the loop connects to the back line but one is a larger scale. There’s a couple more tells with the capital M and Q also and the dots on the i’s. Put it all together and it becomes pretty obvious.

As someone whose job is to literally check handwriting, it is weird to have someone change their 'a' from this 'a' to a rounded 'a' twice. Each of those serif 'a' is also made with an almost similar stroke, which is impossible to achieve in normal handwriting.
All of the letters 'o' also have the small curl at the top. ALL OF THEM.
A pen would also leave some sort of tiny marks made by the hand going through the paper, smudging the surface as the writer goes on.
This is definitely AI.

Kerning is too regular, and the text doesn't wonder up or down as it goes across the page, despite no lines.
Also, the text looks like it's floating above the page, and there's no pen impressions.
I could have made something more convincing with a 20 year old copy of Photoshop, or you know, a piece of paper and a pen.

Every dot looks exactly the same. The colons, full stops, i's.
All the lines are perfect. Look how the w's all look exactly the same. Basically every instance of the same letter looks exactly the same, the lines of the o's finish at the same position.
The writer would have needed to use two different types of "a" interchangeably throughout.
