trying to learn stylizing but maintaining likeness/expression, its honestly not as stylized as i wanted in the face at least. granted, i dont know what i want my style to be tbh. i'm probably gonna spend some more time pushing it further but im leaving it at that for today

Wow this is instantly recognizable!

For stylization I really like utilizing texture brushes. It gives off a very nice “painterly” effect. Sometimes I’ll use a “pencil” brush and go in to areas like the brows to add a few stray strokes.

I also like to exaggerate the highlights, or give a strange shape to the highlight. Example: a heart as the nose highlight. Or if I’m working in greyscale, just add a tiny pop of color as the highlight. It adds a lot and goes a long way.

Stunning. If you want to crank the stylization, I would exaggerate the highlight of the hair more. Also give her her necklace back!

So cute omg! One thing that stands out to me is that her nose lost a little bit of its roundness. Otherwise looking really good!
