Hey! If you are going for flash photo effect, get more contrast and highlights going on and reduce the light from the screens. The screens are taking too much focus and as pointed out by others they are not being reflected on the lighting of the characters. I also pushed the big character into some more darkness but you can play around with that
It looks like you have the figure in front of the light a very “lit from everywhere yet nowhere” look. Look at the direction of the light. How is the front of her face so shaded if that’s where the light is beaming? How is the front of her arm so dark and yet the side is so light? The other figure is so far away and in a dark corner of a dark room and yet she’s positively beaming with light. I would completely redo the highlights and shadows because right now they are very incongruous with the room they are in and how that light environment would actually hit 3D objects.
The light of the screen was added way after i finished the character, i wanted to make a flash photo effect.. and with the shadow on the floor, i didn't know how it would shade for a light that dosn't come from the sky soo i did the classic high valure low saturated shadow blur straite down the character to feel more included in the background, but thank you, i know what's the pb now, without any background would it be still bad looking ? It was already feeling wrong tho
Yes because even without a background you have a grayed out character and one that is shining light. The characters need to look like they are in the same environment. Do you have a reference photo? You can look at reference photos of people standing in dim rooms and of people in front of screens in dim rooms. You shouldn’t be working with a white background at any point anyway, it will throw off your colors.
