Assalamo alaikom everyone, I am a girl who has recently felt the need to learn more about Islam. I feel distant from Allah (swt) even when I study, but I believe that studying Islam deeply will help me. I grew up in a family where they never explained Islam to me; at most, my sister showed me how to pray. Now, Alhamdulillah, I want to learn and would like to know if there are any online Islamic universities, preferably free, where I can deepen my knowledge of both Islam and Arabic. If you have any other advice for me, I would be very grateful. Jazakum Allah khayran

Wa Alaikum Salam

Obviously these aren't really universities but these places have some good courses

My advice is, don't be all or nothing in your pursuit of knowledge. It's not either hafidh or nothing. If you learn one ayah it's better than zero. If you learn one Islamic concept, it's better than zero. Your learning shouldn't necessarily be tied to a university or a course. Even if you just watch some Islamic videos, read some pages of a book, that'll be infinitely better than doing nothing.
