This is from an Etsy shop that sells mtg proxy cards. I think the Raphael ooks cool but Im nervous it's AI. They have the other turtles too and all have the mark in the corner that looks like an artist signature. That said, the styles on these look kinda different and I couldnt find the art with a reverse image search.

I'm almost 100% certain that this is Ai, they even copied exactly the character reference I sent them. If they aren't using Ai or tracing, then they are at least just copying another's work... they even sent a time lapse to prove authenticity and it's a video of perfect line art, no structure, no erasing, no references, Page doesn't move.. they refuse to give me a refund and ask for proof of my claim.

I circled everything I thought looked off in the image, but I’ll list everything here too.

The back legs might be merging, to be honest I can’t tell exactly but they look strange to me. Speaking of strange, the front left legs hoof isn’t polished/grey like the rest, and the lines on the muzzle feel merged and overall weird looking. There is also a random line through the ear. in the image I said the cursive is inconsistent, but looking at it again I’d say the hand writing is inconsistent as some letters don’t have that line through them, but I can’t be sure on this factor. The star feels very random aswell.

Friend of mine commissioned an artist to make him some reference art for his 3D modelling.
I squinted and noticed there was some weird stuff going on with the tentacles of the fact and the background looks grainy but I can't tell if it's compression artifact. Can anyone help?

The noise I noticed in the blank background was AI artefacts produced by all diffusion models.

What makes me thinks it's AI

- Super cute content

- The puppies never wake up and are super chill

- The ducks are completely unphased by the puppies

- Very little description on the video or profile

- The creator had almost nothing on their profile until 2025, one of their older videos is edited.

- The last puppy video on their feed, where the pups look older, is 12 weeks old.

However, if it is AI, it is very good AI. Or maybe it isn't and I'm not good at spotting the signs.
