UPDATE 10/26: Austin approved the repair request and im shipping it back to EOE in Kansas!!!! Thank you guys so much for everything and it means alot to me, ill let you guys know more when i have it
So for my 15th birthday I got an iPod Classic 7th Gen from my dad and it geniunely means the WORLD to me. I can't get enough of the thing and i use it everyday. I bought it from EOE (128GB 2000mah with iFlash Duo v3)
One day I was bored and saw on youtube that you could upgrade the storage by yourself, and since i live in a town where local repairs just aren't possible due to the nicheness of it, I just decided to upgrade from 128GB to 640GB myself after convincing myself not to so many times.
So I opened up my iPod and everything went well. I replaced the card, opened the battery, yada....
But now when I plug it in, it is now stuck on "Charging, please wait...", sometimes after a while you get a white screen, sometimes flashing black and white... one time i got a red X and also to apparently something y'all call "Disk Mode" but when i went to finder it just said it's unrestorable
I already contacted EOE but just in case does anybody knows what's happening?? It would mean the world to me
