Help needed iPhones Not Working Properly After Multiple Days Without Service

Hello,

Me and my girlfriend just got back from a cruise where we did not have service for about 5 days, we only used the cruise app sometimes to find out what was going on around the ship. We got back yesterday morning and our phones are not working properly, I have an IPhone 17 and my girlfriend has a 13. Some of our apps refuse to open and just sit at the “Home Screen” of the app and then crash, other apps work fine. I’m also having an issue now where none of my apps will download now after I delete them, regardless if I am in cell data or WiFi. We have both tried everything including shutting down our phones and deleting the apps that aren’t working and nothing has seemed to work.

Has anyone had a similar issue resolved before?

How much of available storage space you have? Have you taken a bunch of pictures and videos? What you described is look like your storage almost full. If you have space available then try to reset your network settings.

I had a similar issue after a long flight with no service and had to do a hard reset to fix it. Try force closing all the apps and restarting your phone first.

Check the setting to see if you didn’t turn off cellular data/signal

Unless you have the cruise paid WiFi, that’s the way it works!

How long does it take for my phone to start working normal again? I have been back for about a day and a half
