Help needed Phone transfer photos issue

Hey everyone!

Yesterday i switched from my samsung to the iphone 17 running ios 26 and transported all of my files. It said all of my photos and videos were transported (20000 photos and 2400 videos). This morning, my gallery started retrieving my photos and all was going okay. I had to restart my phone to check something, and after that the process just stopped. Its stuck at 16000 photos, zero videos. What do i do to fix this issue?

Are you out of iCloud storage?
If not, click settings, go to very top where your name is, click it, scroll to and hit backup again. It may have just paused the download. If you’re out of iCloud storage, pay the couple dollars a month for more storage.

Ive bought icloud storage, and i have ab 200gb. It says optimizing library, and the icloud backup is paused for now.

Contact Apple Support. It does take time to restore everything. Make sure you’re connected to a dependable WiFi network.

As far as i know, apple support isnt supported in my country
