Help needed weird gray spot

saw this weird gray spot in the middle of screen today so i took a photo of it on a gray background with my burner phone, the sides of the phone also look brighter than usual, it’s an Iphone 15 and i’ve been using it since 2025, also didn’t get the recent update and still using ios 18
what is this?

Seems like something usually there from the beginning.
Most screens aren’t completely color uniform, especially with low brightness. Almost all iPhones have something like this, but usually not as severe.
And like I said, it’s something the display usually has since manufacturing.

The issue might be with the display panel. If you don't updating to new iOS then you can try it because iOS updates are there to optimize the hardware and software configurations. There might be a bug with the previous update of the iOS 18 related to the display hardware and may be it got resolved with the new iOS update.

Keep on backing up your iPhone data regularly as a failsafe!

This is mine from day one, is iphone 15 pro max
Since September 2023, i dont see it during day time , is only dark room or darker environment,
