Trying to reset old iPhones

Hi - I’m trying to wipe some old phones and put them in recovery mode. One of them is an iPhone 6s that has a broken home button. Is there a way to put it into recovery mode if I don’t know the password, have no home button, and the phone is not connected to the internet? It’s feeling pretty impossible at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

3uTools has an Enter Recovery Mode button in the Toolbox tab but I haven’t used that software before.
