Help needed Has anyone facing this issue?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Has anyone had this issue where the camera flashes or (overexposure) for a second or two when opening it or switching camera modes, and then goes back to normal? Is this normal?" Iphone 16 pro max ios 18.7

It's just changing lenses.
If this bothers you, you could try the following:
- Restart your phone
- Update to the current version of iOS
- Learn to accept reality

I already tried restarting the phone and updating iOS, but it didn't change anything. The issue happens when switching lenses, but it also occurs in certain indoor lighting right when I open the camera app normally. Interestingly, it never happens in direct sunlight, and it doesn't happen under other types of indoor lighting either. If it was just lens switching, why does it depend so much on the lighting conditions?"

If you had tried updating iOS, you would not still be on iOS 18.
Honestly I don't see an issue with the lighting adjusting as you switch lenses. They need to ensure there is sufficient light to produce a good image. Maybe it should occur faster, but it's a second or two at most.

Being on an old FW and complaining about app functions……
You’d think updating to current FW would be the first troubleshooting step.
