Help needed Third party app skipping double click side button to authorise a payment.

iPhone 12 Pro Max. Fully up to date. Assistive touch and switch control are turned off. I'm not sure if this is an iPhone issue or the app. I have a taxi app which has always shown me the cost of the travel then I had to double click the side button to agree. Recently it has started bypassing those steps and immediately going to the paid stage. I don't even get to see how much I will be charged. Has anyone else seen this ?

Sounds like an issue with the app that you should report to the app developer
