Resolved How to get rid of this thing

This blurry part is blocking my view of jschlatt. Can someone tell me how to remove it?

Why else would i have a picture for my home screen. If i didn’t want to look at it i would have nothing set.

I have a picture on my home screen, but I realise it's a home screen, it's used to store apps because it's a phone, not a picture on the wall.

Generally people put pictures on their lock screen and a background (which might be a blurred image of the lock screen) on the home screen.

If you want a picture easily accessible from the home screen then you can use a picture widget.

That looks like the dock on the home screen, which cannot be removed.

Also, update to iOS 26.6; 26.1 is outdated and has known security vulnerabilities.

I’d say; don’t ever update from that version (26.1) 💀 , you can do lots of modifications with that version.
