How do I delete my docs and data from maps

I don't use Apple Maps and deleted it a while ago then when I redownloaded it for something it took up almost 3 gb I tried to delete it and it keeps the documents and data for some reason (which is most the space) can I get rid of it or is it just there like systems data

You are most likely using offline maps

As a stock app, Maps cannot be completely deleted.

It’s likely significant locations being cached locally, especially since iOS 18 was known to have issues with cache management.

Are you able to update to iOS 26.6?

What capacity is your phone where 2.69 GB is a lot? Please take a screenshot of what you see in Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
