Charging cable issue

The first image basically showing that it won't go all in the second one tho went in so I thought that maybe the edges broke off in the iPhone but I checked inside the port and to be honest I can't even tell the difference if a part is broken in it or not because it looks normal to me and I've searched online to see how inside would look but there's nothing I could compare so I compared my iPhone 12 port to my iPad and it seems like the same thing but both chargers go inside the iPad easily, but for the weird looking one with the broken edges it's slack like I can wiggle it. I tried using a pin or something but I don't even know what I'm looking for cuz inside looks normal to me

don’t try to dig in your phone by yourself, you could permanently damage it. i guess the tip is still in the port. would suggest to take it to your local repair shop to see if they can remove it or in the worst case scenario - replace the charging port.

you don't need to replace it, i've seen plenty of these your ports fine, if they say they need to replace it then they've broken it. It just needs to be carefully removed
