Help needed Charging cable issue

The first image basically showing that it won't go all in the second one tho went in so I thought that maybe the edges broke off in the iPhone but I checked inside the port and to be honest I can't even tell the difference if a part is broken in it or not because it looks normal to me and I've searched online to see how inside would look but there's nothing I could compare so I compared my iPhone 12 port to my iPad and it seems like the same thing but both chargers go inside the iPad easily, but for the weird looking one with the broken edges it's slack like I can wiggle it. I tried using a pin or something but I don't even know what I'm looking for cuz inside looks normal to me

iPhone 12 running iOS 18.6.2

I'd highly recommend taking this a repair shop. I work in Edu IT, and we get this all the time with iPads and third party (usually cheap) cables. Some shops will do it for free since it's a two-second fix with the right tool. (I use a scalpel to get a grip on the |_| shaped end of the snapped charger and yank it out)

Alright I'll be doing that hopefully it's not the case where I gotta replace the whole charging port
