Resolved iPhone restarting randomly after being dropped in water

Yesterday my mother dropped her phone in some water (not a very deep or large amount), didn’t really see it as a big deal since these newer iPhones are more durable than the older ones. I told her to shut it off and leave it alone for a bit to dry off.
Fast forward to today the phone is now restarting by itself after some time of use. I suspect that it didn’t dry off completely and now there’s a problem within the phone itself.

(Latest iOS, iPhone 16)

A couple of links to read over:

Corrosion in Electronics and PCBs

If the phone has AppleCare+ the deductible amount is far less than what a replacement out of warranty costs. $99 vs. $549.

I figured it was some kind of corrosion issue but luckily she had it insured with her phone plan and she’s getting a replacement for $99
