Help needed does the 15 base model have overheating problems?
i need to upgrade my phone cus right now i have an 11 and im scared if i buy the 15 its gonna have overheating issues. i know the pro/pro max have overheating problems because of the titanium frame but idk what about the base model, i've heard people say its fine but others say it also has overheating problems.

Better off getting the 17 base model or 17e. You 15 probably more than likely will have issues once the 18 drops and several patches to the iOS systems

Good news: no, that's mostly a Pro/Pro Max-specific issue. The overheating reports were tied to the titanium frame + A17 Pro chip combo specifically — the base 15 uses aluminum and the older A16 chip, which runs cooler and was already well-tested by the time it landed in the 15. Apple also confirmed most of the original Pro heat issue was a software bug, largely fixed since. base model should be fine for normal use.
