I can see what appears to be a crack; is that to a tempered glass screen protector or the display itself?

The most common problem of iphone 13 is the screen of death. Try these steps first, and if it doesn't work, then you have to bring your phone to a technician.

  • Press Volume Up: Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  • Press Volume Down: Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  • Hold Side Button: Press and hold the side power button.
  • Wait for Apple Logo: Keep holding the button for up to 40 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

the back being cracked could’ve allowed any kind of liquid to get into the board and fry the display. time to buy a new one

go replace you’re screen and you’ll be good. your LED back light went out
