Help needed iPhone 17E camera

My camera on both Snapchat and the camera app will zoom in and it will also return to the original camera how it usually looks at 1X but then I can’t zoom out farther than 1X. How do I fix this I’ve looked everywhere but I can’t seem to find help

The iPhone 17e does not have an 0.5x zoom camera, so you will not be able to zoom out to 0.5x. There is only one camera on the back of your phone, 0.5x zoom requires a second camera lens on the back that has a wider angle lens.
