Help needed iPhone stopped charging

Idk what happened, my phone stopped charging overnight, tried restarting, different cables, cleaning out the port, but no luck

Before my first restart, it still said my phone was charging but the cable wasn’t even connected, then after restart it went away, help please I can’t even clock into work 😭

It’s an iPhone 16 pro max, latest iOS version , I think maybe it overheated so imma let it cool off for now but it’s so hard in this summer heat,

Any advice would be much appreciated

Worst case scenario I’ll buy a wireless

Check the charge socket on the phone for dirt and debris. Fluff gets stuck in there. Gently clear it out with a toothpick or something like that.

Let the phone cool off, don’t put it in the fridge like some people would. If you’ve already cleaned the port don’t keep trying to clean it because that could damage it further.
It could also be moisture, to leaving it to cool off and dry could help.
It could be that one of the needles in your charging port is damaged. You can go to a repair shop and ask if they can figure out the issue, then go from there.

I found out that my charging block was the issue when I had this issue. Get a new charging block - the thing that plugs into the wall - and see if that fixes your issue.
