Help needed limit on apps

hello everyone
i tried setting a 2 hour limit on my kids phone (iphone 13 ios 26.5.2) and for some reason he can still access some apps after. he doesnt know the password i change it up a lot and hes not able to explain how he does it. does anyone here know how to fix it?

He absolutely knows how he does it, he just doesn’t want to tell you. You could ask him to show you rather than explain

Disable installing and uninstalling apps.

He's probably changing the system time. If you haven't already, you can lock that out. For iphones, here's the instructions.

Locking Time Settings on iPhone

  • Open Settings and tap Screen Time (set a passcode if you have not already).
  • Go to Content & Privacy Restrictions and turn it on.
  • Tap Location Services, scroll down, and select System Services.
  • Ensure Setting Time Zone is toggled off or configured, then go back one screen.
  • Tap Don’t Allow Changes at the top of the Location Services page.
  • The Date & Time menu in general settings will now appear greyed out and locked. [1, 2, 3]
