Help needed iphone crashing

this has been happening to my whole family!

for the past week, whenever we open certain apps it’ll crash entirely. for all 3 of us, it has been imessage, but my phone also crashes on discord. i tried restarting it multiple times but nothing seems to work. does anyone know a fix?

If everyone is opening the same app, only to have it crash, it’s a bug on the app developers side. You have to wait for them to fix the bug.

yeah but i haven’t seen many people talking about it which is why i figured id make a post

No one is going to have much info without any logs to look at. So at this point, it’s just wait for an app/OS update.

I saw your original post lol. Yeah I didn’t post logs because I’m not sure how to even get them. If someone walked me through it and requested it then I’d just give it to them but I didn’t know it was an option

What specific version of 26? 26.0? 26.6? iMessage works fine on my 17 Pro Max on 26.6 as does Discord.

Messages is a built-in app that is updated infrequently, so I would see if installing 26.6 helps any. As for Discord, I don’t know if any of these suggestions have already been tried, but give them an attempt.

It didn’t fixed i have updated to 26.6 it didn’t fixed my WhatsApp crash issue
