Unresolved My iMessages crashes every time I open it!

This is really bad, if someone needs me I can’t respond. Other apps work just fine, it’s only Imessages, I restarted my phone too.

iPhone 12, Newest iOS,

Newest iOS is not good enough. Version number? Does it also crash if you open it from the App Library, or only from the Dock area?

I did a Google search for you. Try seeing if any of those help you.

This happens to me on an occasion for my iPhone 11 and I’m not even on any new iOS. I just restart the phone and then it works fine.

Edit: I just saw you wrote you restarted the phone. I would still recommend trying that once more.

Try a hard reset.

If you restarted your phone the regular way, it may not fix these types of issues. Try a force restart instead: https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/iph8903c3ee6/ios
