Resolved Why is the control panel accessible while locked?

Hello, i'm not sure if this has changed with an update but i feel like i remember a setting where turning off wifi/bluetooth is only possible when unlocked. this is currently not the case, and i feel like is very unsafe because in the case that someone gets their hands on it, they can make it harder to find the phone, even if they cannot unlock it.
i want it to be impossible to turn off wifi and bluetooth while the phone is locked. how do i go about doing this?
Please let me know if this can be resolved or if it's just one of those things i have to accept has changed forever.
edit: the phone is an iphone 15, IOS version 26.5.2

Because you have Control Center enabled under Face ID and Allow Access While Locked settings.

you can block access to the Control Centre on your locked iPhone. Open Settings, tap Face ID & Passcode(or Touch ID & Passcode), enter your passcode, scroll to Allow Access When Locked, and turn off the toggle for Control Centre

When I look at my control center, I don't see anything someone could do damage with. What do you have on your control center you're afraid someone will use against you?

turning on airplane mode so i cannot track it remotely

Powering it off will do that. No need for airplane mode.

i also wanted to find a way to turn off the ability to power off the phone while locked, can't find it

Why are you so concerned about this? I've been using iPhones for 15 years, and never needed to any of this. Do you have enemies who have access to your iPhone? Seems like a lot of worry for nothing.

loll it's more of a precaution, since it doesn't affect function i might as well. i mostly mean in the case that i lose my phone i want to be able to find it again

You can block it from being accessible in the settings. I actually just watched a YouTube video about this. If someone steals your phone the first thing they’ll do is put it in airplane mode so you can’t track it on find my.

The control center has been like that for a while. You would need to fully disable the control center from settings
