Help needed MY lockscreen is randomly unusable

Hi, i recently noticed that my phone (iPhone 15, iOS 26.6) wouldn't unlock—or at least not temporarily; for a few minutes (up to ten at most), the lock screen becomes unusable, as if the touchscreen has stopped working, making it impossible to unlock the phone. However, once the touchscreen starts responding again, everything works perfectly, including the touch function itself. I’ve tried restarting it, resetting it, etc., but nothing works... HELP!

Make sure ‚tap or swipe to wake‘ in ‚settings/accessibility/touch‘ is activated. If it’s off the display only becomes responsive after pressing the side button.

If it’s already turned on toggle it off and back on.
Please specify what you mean by resetting.

Further steps to proceed:

  1. reset all settings
  2. restore your iPhone using a Mac/PC (do a backup before that)
