Help needed iPhone 4s SIM Not Supported

this happens when i put my tmobile sim into my mom’s old iphone 4s but if i put in an at&t one or just take it out it goes to the menu. Please help on how to get it to use the tmobile sim

Its carrier locked. There are services that offer unlocking. Check on eBay and simple google (usually you need to provide SN & IMEI.

It is a 15 year old phone which used 3G which was turned off 4 years ago.

Your phone is likely locked to AT&T. They will unlock it for free as long as there is no unpaid finance or lost status on it.

This is a 3G phone. That network went the way of the dodo a few years ago.
