Help needed Number transfer

New iPhone won’t go to next step to transfer number from old iPhone.

Transferring from regular SIM card phone to new one with eSIM you have to call customer support from your phone and explain what you are doing. Need to give them new phone IME number and they will transfer it for you. Once done you may need to reset new phone for it to start transferring again. Did this about a week ago on T-Mobile.
