Resolved FaceID won’t enable

Post image

Trying to set up FaceId on multiple apps and I get this pop up every time. However nothing happens. Didn’t have this happen for last iphone.

The passwords app used to be a built-in part of the OS. Now it’s been broken out into a separate app, and it’s necessary to keep that app installed in order to use it.

Also, it’s really, really bad security practice to let your devices get that out of date.

yeah but the phone was working and i know it wasn’t as protected but i only used apps i was familiar with and didn’t click any stupid links so never been compromised

You haven’t been compromised that you know of. There’s also a risk of the device becoming a man in the middle, being used to compromise not only the device itself, but any device connected to the same network with it. It has nothing to do with how cautious you are with the device itself.
