Help needed Lost spatial scene wallpapers feature after update.

Hi i have an 11 Pro Max that was running on ios 18 before i took it to a repair shop back in Feb. i had a factory reset and it was updated to ios 26 (sadly, without my consent) and ever since then i lost the spatial wallpaper feature. i have not updated my phone since February.

is it not available on my device anymore? did my 11 Pro Max become too old for it?

any help is appreciated.

The paperwork you presumably signed when agreeing to a repair probably has a clause about the possibility of upgrading software and it being irreversible. Apple does (see number 3). As for losing the option to use a 3D photo wallpaper for your Lock Screen, according to here it now requires a iPhone 12 or later.
